Rio Ferdinand's wife passes away from cancer

Featured Replies

“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea, we send our condolences to Rio Ferdinand and his family,” Terry said minutes after Chelsea confirmed this season’s Premier League title

Really admirable thing to say minutes after winning the title, not sure if they'll ever get along again but that was very noble of Terry. Great guy, great captain.

Rio, Rio, Rio!

Horrible news indeed, and now there are saddo's on twitter saying it was Karma for what happened with JT..Of course our name will be mud, but one persons twitter account had a picture of Benitez on it, which makes me wonder...Also Liverpool fans tweeting that they hope Rooney will die along with her..

Jesus Christ they should all be named and shamed in public, I'm sure Ferdinand has better things to do at the moment than to go on Twitter, but some people really are vile..I despair for the Human race at times.

RIP Rebecca

/\ Sometimes I want to live on an island, but can't so I'm hoping there will be a social meeja backlash. I was impressed when Prince Harry told a youngster not to bother with selfies.

Tragic loss for Rio, and his family.  3 young kids that'll never know their mother.

As someone has said, football is meaningless in comparison
