Such an emotional night that one. I remember being in disbelief at the start we made, and then tat goal happened...you just sat there with a total "what a f**king goal that was" expression on your face.

I remember not even been mad it was like it transcended the importance of the game, it was special. I think if that Ronaldinho was playing today he'd be getting Messi & Ronaldo type numbers.

So many to chose from and some great goals in this thread; Cole vs United, Lamps vs Bayern, Essien vs Goons, Zola vs Norwich, RDM vs Boro, Shev vs Spurs etc etc

 

One of them stands above them all though and that's Drogba's header in the CL final.

Also going to add not a goal, but one of my favourite moments of all time was in the Nou Camp when Drogba picked the ball up in our corner on about the hour mark, shrugged off about 5 defenders and nearly scored from about 60 yards.

Most important goal

Best goal

Because an important goal can take a position over a better goal because it meant more. Like Drogba's header in the final, sure it was class but he scored better headers against Arsenal in the Carling Cup Final and against Bayern in 2005. Yet neither were as important.

Haha yeah don't get why some fans do that.

Meireles against Benfica.  He loved it because they hated him.  Also, Meireles looks like a few of my mates (Tattoo wise) so I always though he'd be a good laugh out for a few beers
