By all accounts, Wesdt Ham were bloody awful on Saturday. I'm hoping their morale will be at rock bottom after being taken apart by Sheffield United, in which case they could well be there for the taking. Funny how things turn out sometimes. Sheff U play the Mancs tomorrow night and should be well up for it. Probably a bit too much to hope that they'll get anything out of the game, but we can always hope.

If we cant get a decent result against the worst side in the premiership then we don't deserve the title , simple as that .

Watford are the worst team in the league and we only just beat them.

Man Utd went there and lost.........even though it was Curbs first game.

We have gone there lots of times and struggled when we have needed a result (98-99).

And its an evening kick off........London derby and they need a result!!

I really do think its going to be tough!!

They do look a poor team, slightly gutt-less and haven't been playing for there manager.........

.....but when the big teams play West H*m they do suddenly decide to play.

Sounds like a team I used to know!!!

I agree it's going to be really tough, they're fans hate us with a passion and that feeds through to the players, we've got to be prepared to earn this victory.

agree with that glory.

west ham, of all clubs, love to stop being sh*te all of a sudden when it comes to playing chelsea. and they do have good players. really curbishley has been useless not to have them relatively safe by now.

West Ham will be looking to complete their own treble tonight, having beaten Utd & Arsenal at home already this season.

They may find us a little harder nut to crack!

Jose has been talking about playing his best team rather than rotating but I still expect some changes from Sunday:

---------------------Cech

Diarra--------Ricky--------JT-------Bridge

--------------------Mikel

-------Essien------------------Lamps

SWP-------------------------------------Joey

------------------Drogba

Subs: Carlo, Cole, Ballack, Kalou, Sheva

We are due a comfortable win and I really hope we can produce it tonight. If we can get through this match and Sunday's against Newcastle then I really think we might do it.

My very real concern is how many times can these players of ours continue performing the heroics they have been producing over the last few weeks ? they must be physically and emotionally drained, like a marathon runner who keeps seeing the finishing line being moved further and further away, please God they can do it but if not please remember what they have done for us already this season, Hero's every one of them.

I imagine Frank will be most pleased if it's us that puts the final nail in their coffin to send em down. icon_lol.gif

I don't reckon he would would be to gutted!!

It's difficult to understand why that lot are so bitter about Frank leaving the club. I mean it's not like he was tapped up, not that he didn't give his all for them when he was there. Remember, it was a matter of family pride. The way they treated his uncle was bloody scandalous, then when his father left of course he had to go.

I think the thing they HATE now is that Frank went on to prove all those doubters who said he only played 'cos of his dad' totally wrong. He did OK in his 1st season but came into his own in the final defeat to Arsenal. He has gone from strenght to strenght, picking up player of the year and finishing runner-up to Ronaldinho in European player of the year, and they still won't admit they were wrong about Frank. They really are sad at West Ham.

It's not clear cut tonight, they'll be right up for it. I still have West Ham fans telling me about the year they were relegated 'Yeah but we still beat you twice that season'' they'll say. I always come back with, 'Yeah we did all we could to help you out, we gave you 6 points, and millions for Johnson and Cole AND stopped you going out of business, otherwise you'd have had your stadium reposessed by Ikea, but you still went down, what a bunch of mugs, Look at the state of you now!!' (it usually does the trick!)

Lets not give them ANY points this time around.

We could take Dean Ashton of their hands this time WHEN they're relagated.

They can keep the rest of the squad though - pile of sh*te!!

Bloody hell, just watching SkySports and Ballack's English.... flawless!! Am I right to believe he didn't really know much, if any, when he first arrived?

He knew already, I'm pretty sure he speaks 4 languages flawlessly. German, English, Spanish and Polish.
