Teams are targeting Ivanovic because everyone can see he is our weak link in that position. Right now he looks like a centre back playing at right back. Do you think teams would target our right hand side is Dave was there? Of course they wouldn't.

If Ivanovic plays, it should be in the centre. He is still good enough for centre back but doesn't have the legs for full back position. He's also a club legend and has done wonders for us in his time here and should not be left out on the right to suffer week after week.

This has been done to death. There are just some people who cannot accept Ivanovic being dropped for the good of the team.

Ivanovic has been a great servant for the club but with age his role has to change, I think Mourinho should rest him for his own good. He has become the laughing stock of the league and needs that protection I am sure he will be back to his best very soon but maybe not in the full back position.

 

If Mourinho is adamant to keep him in the team at RB than I would prefer playing 4-3-3 to offer him more protection and allow Pedro to play further forward to really hurt the opposition. 

I'd love Falcao to come good at Chelsea. He works his ass off and deserves to hit a bit of form.

I have already said he's good enough but in a different position as have many others. Please read before making such a comment.

Personally I'm hoping that Stones an own goal and celebrates by ripping his Everton shirt off revealing the Chelsea shirt underneath.

I'm actually more nervous about this game than I'd usually be. I'm not sure if it's down to the whole bitterness lately or Martinez' stupid ranting which have caused a bit of tension or if it's down to our form and selection.

I hope so too. I would be happy with a 10-0 win, a Costa hat trick, 3 red cards and some major injury occurrences culminating in Martinez losing his job. That would make me satisfied.

If Ivanovic hadnt been a club legend he would be out of the starting lineup long ago. He had been a liability defensively for quite some time, there are no signs of the Ivanovic who was a stout defender. How long do you keep persisting with a player who is clearly not able to do the job required?

I was more pointing out the hypocrisy of saying one player of questionable form deserves a chance to try and find form whilst constantly saying another is basically finished as a right back. 

 

I've already said at the beginning of this thread I would drop Ivanovic and bring Baba in.
