I am more confident about this game than I was for Crystal Palace, Most of Everton's attacking play comes through the centre in the form of Barkley and Lukaku. I think we have the tools to deal with that line of attack and should play Mikel alongside Matic to shore up the defense.

They have failed to score in their last 2 games and I think Martinez will put Barkley on the wing to utilize our inefficiencies out wide and look to stretch our defense and I dont believe Barkley is half as good out wide as he is in the No.10 role. I believe Baines will still be out and he will be a huge loss for them.

I think we will get our first clean sheet in the league and win by 1 or 2 goals

Certainly so. The usual first team players will line up against Everton and with no incoming quality transfers, I expect a 3-1 beating by Everton. Further poor results against Maccabi and Arsenal with the untouchables playing and Mournho will be looking for a new job. That is the price of stubbornness, blind loyalty to declining players and a really poor transfer window.

I bet you're just a hit at parties, huh?

I'm a bit torn between leaving out the players who are clearly nowhere near match fitness and attempting to play them into match fitness. On the one hand a great deal of our first-teamers are nowhere near the peak of their abilities and their performances will reflect that, on the other hand what better way to actually get them into their pomp?

Hanging them over a snake infested pit by the testicle sack ?

I think Jose should really use our fringe players here mixed with some everpresents.

Kenedy, Falcao, Traore, Diego...

Care to post something related to football?

Yea, you're a pessimist, pessimists think glass half empty, the glass is made of glass, glasses are also made of glass, specsavers sell glasses, specsavers sponsor the rugby league refs, Rugby was invented in the town of Rugby when the football the school team were playing with went flat and they picked it up and started throwing it, hence Rugby football stems from football, Chelsea play football, this is a football forum for Chelsea fans..see totally related to football.

Honestly think this could be Rubens big break he needs to grab this chance with both hands and make that pivot spot his own as it's clear now Fabregas needs to play further forward.

Depending on injuries in international break Jose may well make a couple of changes. He will know something has to be done.

I am starting to wonder if Oscar will play much this season. I've suspected for ages that it's an injury not form that has kept him out of the lineup for club and country for more than six months barring the odd 60 minutes here and there.

I hope:

-----------------Courtois-----------------

Dave------Terry------Zouma-------Baba

------------RLC-------Matic-----------

Pedro---------Hazard-----------Kenedy

-----------------Costa-------------------

What we'll get:

---------------Courtois-----------------

Ivan------JT--------Cahill---------Dave

---------Fabregas-----Matic--------

Pedro--------Oscar--------Hazard

-------------Costa---------------

Not feeling confident at all.
