Mourinho wants to be sacked?

Featured Replies

Hmm, this is interesting.. hiddink won the fa cup, di matteo won the CL, benitez won the europa league.. your point?

Hiddink didn't want the job long term, he had other commitments he was loyal enough to see through.

Di Matteo wasn't a proven manager and his jobs since tend to say we didn't really miss out.

Benitez shouldn't even be discussed as he hated Chelsea fans and Chelsea fans hated him back. Is it any wonder there was no love loss from the support when he left and Jose came in?

If you are seriously wondering why so many are supportive of Jose Mourinho then I have to assume you have been living in a cave since 2005.

Poor start on the back of a double winning season...

The fans last night chanted his name, what do they know eh!

It's beyond poor start..  deny all ya want, 15th after 10 games without clear cut chances created from open play by the so called champion suggest all is not right behind the scene..

Ya only need to look at how jose is behaving to see that he doesn't have a clue on how to fix it..

They chanted their name because they like him unconditionally while I don't, is that a problem for ya?

Never knew that writing "our manager" when replying to your Jose's comment includes our past managers too.

Context dude. Context.

i'll take that as a no then.. ok...

They chanted his name because they recognise he is the best manager we've ever had, and arguably the best in the world and he should be given the time and opportunity to rectify the current mess.

AND THE WORD IS "YOU".  IS IT SO BLOODY DIFFICULT?

what exactly is your point anyway? The initial question was about whether changing manager midway is beneficial to chelsea and hence my reply...

As for your last statement, I already said I got no problem with ya lot being on his tail but don't go condemning people who isn't on the same page regarding the manager..

Yes, I think everyone here knows where we are in the league and the problems we are encountering just now.

However we have been improving with every game we play and last night was down to bad luck that we didn’t come out on top, nothing more. We outplayed the opposition and the players showed they were committed to the cause and Mourinho.

If I am to give up on a man who made this club Champions after a 50 year wait and delivered a double just a few months ago I’d be a hypocrite, long have I desired stability and longevity in a manager at our club while also wishing for the best available, we have that man in charge just now and no matter who comes in they would be a downgrade.

I’m not questioning anyone for wanting change but to class people on here backing the manager as ‘dimwits’ is quite frankly stupid and you can ya..ya…ya…ya till your heart’s content but if you start throwing about names when people are just backing a legend then be prepared to be pulled up on it lad.

Don't go calling Chelsea fans dimwits then.

Act your age...although that might be the reason I'd imagine..

Of course there are times when a manager change has been for the better i.e. Hiddink, Scolari then there are times it wasn't i.e. Grant, Benitez. Infact let me clarify on Benitez, that season due to his ridiculous stupid tactics and decisions like subbing our best players before matches were finished we lost the World Club Championship, reason been he chapped and changed te team that had won the game in the semi. We crashed out the Legaue Cup to Swansea and we crashed out the FA Cup to Man City who we really should have beaten. Now let's not forget we weren't that far behind United when he took over if I remember rightly but by the end of the season we finished third. Sure he won the Europa League with us and it was great but we massively underachieved that season.

I have absolutely no problem with people who question the manager's current ability to do his job considering the awful situation in which we find ourselves this season, but I am not entirely sure why we're entertaining such a thoroughly absurd theory.

Best manager we've ever had? nobody can predict the future...  Best manager so far? yes but he's doing an awfully job right now..

Should he be given time? no if there is a genuine risk of the club missing out top 4.. ya lot all underestimate the after effect of losing the top 4 or simply don't care..

I simply like to use it 'ya' on here, is that also not allowed apart from being anti mourinho in this forum?

I wonder who started 1st.. had some people can accept not everyone like jose then maybe the dimwit term wouldn't have come out and for the record, nope I don't call chelsea fans dimwits, it's jose fans dimwit... if ya're not 1 of them then fair enough..

You do understand the term best we've ever had does mean the past to the present don't you?

ah language.. my bad english isn't my 1st one..

"Ever had" =/= "Ever will have". You are agreeing but want to disagree anyway

Just looking at an interview on BBC sport with Jose talking about the players and people saying they are not behind him, he said it was an insult to the players and that the people or ex players saying it must be thinking that his players are like they were, quality put down to the stirrers.

He seemed well happy (as I am) with the effort against West Ham and last night, we're not tearing it up but those players are playing for him and they don't want him sacked as far as my instinct is concerned.

He looked more relaxed as well which is a good thing, listened to Frank and Zola on the same site basically saying he'll turn this round.

But did they win the PL? We have won the PL four times & Jose was in charge for three of them.

Carlo also won the BPL/FA cup double.

Im glad you brought this up for 2 reasons.

1)  That list, infact, is a testament to how badly that squad under performed under almost every manager aside from Mourinho and Carlo, because they should have won so much more.

2)  That was won with a great squad despite the managerial instability, this current squad is no where near as good or mentally as strong.

Spot on Barry

Bola, you say you're worried about us not making top 4. We're 9 points behind with 28 games to go. Are you saying we can't catch up? Get real! Do you not feel Jose has earned the right to put this right? Don't get sucked in by all this media tripe.
