January 25, 201610 yr Would be quite a shrewd acquisition if this comes to fruition. Chelsea will now go all out for BVB midfielder Gundogan, who's current deal expires in June 2017. (Eurosport)
January 25, 201610 yr Would prefer we gave Ruben a chance between now and the end of the season if Ramires is in fact off. Don't want to see any hugh profile signings come in whilst we have an interim manager in charge.
January 25, 201610 yr They want Rami though so could be worth a decent player plus cash deal. Anyone know how long Rami has on his contract? Thought he'd recently signed an extension
January 25, 201610 yr Author di marzio reporting bvb have agreed a deal to sign oliver torres from atletico madrid, so that signals someone may well be going, and that person could well be gundogan. maybe not this month, but could be the replacement for gundogan. January 25, 201610 yr Author well there's a lot of hype around him and he's touted as the next biggest thing in spain, but he's still 20/21 i think and us buying more youngsters would just be a bit pointless. again, he's hyped and we have no idea how he'll turn out. i think his biggest gripe was not getting enough playing time at atletico, so doubt he'd get much here neither. gundogan only has a year left on his contract and it's looking likely he'll leave in the summer anyway. i think our midfield would benefit greatly from his presence and hope we do go hard for him.
January 25, 201610 yr Why dont WE just buy Torres instead? Because he actually wants to play games, not sit on the bench.
January 26, 201610 yr He wouldnt be sitting on the bench would he? He didnt graduate from our academy
January 26, 201610 yr Yeah, but can he run 100m in less than 10 seconds? If not then dont sign him. Edited January 26, 201610 yr by dkw
January 26, 201610 yr Why dont WE just buy Torres instead? Because no one with that name may ever wear a chelsea shirt again *Shudder*
