Those two would be worth a fortune nowadays. Would cost tens of millions of pounds to sign them but would they have left AC Milan? I doubt it. The two of them were part of a legendary back four. 

Here's an amazing stat: Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini played 196 matches together for AC Milan and conceded just 23 goals !

The 2nd Leg was played at Plymouths Home Park because of hooliganism in France at the first leg.

 This was a UEFA ruling.

Tommy Law our left back who made his Scotland debut that day played only one more game for Scotland.

In the 1930 game v England at Wembley, England gained revenge by winning 5-2.

So in the two England v Scotland games he played in, a total of 13 goals were scored.

Loved watching this squad play.
