It does look like Lineker in the picture. He was interviewed on Saturday Live on BBC Radio 4 yesterday. It would have been great if the training had been brought up in the interview. It looks like our one time player Dennis Rofe being interviewed.

Jock Wallace, a legendary manager. I doubt it his style of managing and relationship with the media would be allowed nowadays. Did a great job with Rangers.

I think Jock Wallace was from the Gullane area.

It's East of Edinburgh, if you don't know it's location.

So that's perhaps why he knew of and used the beach there.

Cheers. Just had a look at the map and Gullane is not far from his home town of Wallyford. As you say, he must have used the beach in his younger days.

Some overcrowding at Goodison.

Believe it or not, they are playing QPR in May 1985.

It's the Everton supporters, not the 'legendary QPR away support' mind you.

Celebrating winning the Division 1 title.

That was a very good Everton side. A shame that they didn't have a chance to shine in Europe.

Brian Clough in his Sunderland playing days.

Just had a look at his goal scoring record. Incredible goals to game ratio. 251 goals in 274 games for Sunderland and Middlesbrough. Only played twice for England.

Amazing and amazing !

Here's Brian Clough with Jimmy Greaves at The Bridge, for an England training session in 1959.

A bit different. Some interesting hairstyles here. Given that barbers and hairdressers are going to be closed for the foreseeable future it will be interesting to see what our hair will look like. I recognise most of the players in the picture. John Dempsey looks like Max Wall.

A few pictures from Chelsea's game against Rangers at Ibrox in 2007. What a great day that was.

Frank up against Barry Ferguson. Two wonderful midfielders. Barry's brother Derek was a fine player but went off the rails.
