Watford vs. Chelsea

Featured Replies

Morning of the match and theres no thread? Surely the CSR doesn't feel this is a match need not discussingbecause its seen as a foregone conclusion. Watford will be fighting for their life. If we do beat them, we'll be doing West Ham a favour, so it'll be a dirty win icon_wink.gif

Teams? Predictions?

We know Robben, Essien and Bridge are out, and Lamps is fit... I reckon we'll line up in a diamond, and its just a case if Maka plays really. I don't think he played for France, so Jose may well pick him and therefore we'd probably see Mikel out and Ballack there.

Come on the Chels! icon_cool.gif

Maybe Jose will give SWP another chance since he's played quite well in his recent matches, so maybe it's time to give Ballack some more rest so he'll be ready for the Valencia match. Or maybe give Maka some extra rest and play Mikel in the Maka role. This will be a tough match, no doubt about it, but Im sure Jose will be thinking about the Valencia match too. Hopefully not too much, though.

Sahar on the bench! 259.gif

I forgot about Sahar... and the up coming Valencia game.. In that case I can se Ballack and Drogba being rested with Kalou starting. Would be nice if Sahar was on the bench and got on for 20 minutes or so - must be flying high after his midweek heroics.

Will I see you in the match chat, Mak? icon_wink.gif

Not sure...I got a invitation to a fancy dress party last night(a BIT short notice icon_mad.gif )...the party is tonight and if I will go, I will quite probably be at the party or on my way there when they kick off. If I can figure out a costume before the evening, I'll be going, but if not, I guess I'll be here.

I don't know about you guys but I think Jose will be looking to make up a bit of goal difference today.

That'd be a first. I think it all depends on ManU's result. If ManU win, I think we'll try to win with the least amount of effort possible to save energy for the UCL match. Which probably means: 844.gif

Apparently the Watford players are going to the same party. They'll be wearing their kit and pretending to be footballers!!

It might not be all easy for us today, Watford will have nothing to lose, no real expectations and a way to earn some respect if they do well.

I think Sheva has to play to keep his confidence building and to keep him in with the pace, would not surprise me if Drogs is on the bench and Kalou SWP and Sheva make up a front 3, Ballack Lamps and Mikel possibly with Diarra RC JT and AC.

I will be going for 0-2 and 0-3 with Sheva first scorer.

John Terry down in the first minute kicking the ground but not moving otherwise... For f**k sake, anything go our way?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just came on here to concede the title and slag the players off for an abject performance, but then Kalou came to our rescue...I almopst dropped my laptop

he he, I decided to hold it off till the final whistle, I'm glad I did icon_lol.gif

early rating

Ballack -10

can we get a refund?

Based on that performance you could say the same for Lamps - although admittedly I don't think lamps would have missed those two chancs in the 2nd half.

Well and truly off the hook today - I don't think we deserved that one bit.

We were on a par with England!!

now that was close.

he was average at best, but better than lamps and won the ball for our goal.

not surprised to see him singled out however.

in any case, my ratings:

the team: 1 out of 10.

jose: 2 out of 10.
