Does anyone have themselves a cheap backup phone for when theirs breaks? If so, what would you recommend as a cheap/reliable one that could be used in emergencies?

Got myself a Doogee X5 (Chinese phone), you have it on ebay for around 45-50 dollars. As i never had problems with it i still own it and use it , i will change it if it stops working.

I have an old Samsung flip phone that I keep just in case the iPhone ever gives up. 

Nokia have recently gone 'back to basics' with their new range of phones and you know they'll always be reliable. Maybe have a look at them:

Ive had an Huawei for several months and its comfortably the best phone Ive ever owned. So good that I will likely never return to a premium priced phone ever again.

Same. Not Huawei. A Moto G4. Does it all for a heck of a lot cheaper.

That's what I have. Very happy with it. Excellent battery life. £50 mint condition on Ebay nearly 2 years ago.
