St Etienne carried on their good recent form with a 2-1 home won over Annecy. They are now up to the dizzy heights of fourth@!

Carlisle Utd carried on their very poor form on Saturday. They lost 2-1 away to Bristol Rovers. They are 24th and bottom of League 1

Carlisle are dead in the water, virtually relegated already, 15 points behind.

Carlisle…yes they lost. This time 3-2 away to Charlton Athletic.

St Etienne won 1-0 at home against league leaders Auxerre. St Etienne are now up to the heady heights of 3rd Place.

My local side. Hastings United in the Isthmian League Premier Division. The clubhouse used to play host to the Hastings Branch of Chelsea Supporters Club and regularly and they regularly held meetings there, not sure if they still do though.

Local support for Hastings Utd seems to be growing and when they host Folkestone Invicta on Easter Monday they hope to get a near record crowd of 3000. Just 5 or 6 years ago their average crowd was around 500. Great to see non league football thriving.

Carlisle Utd, well you’ll not be surprised to know they lost yesterday. This time 3-1 at home to Wycombe. And are now 10 points adrift at the bottom

St Etienne won 2-1 against Bordeaux at home yesterday.

They scored both goals in time added on 91st and 94th minutes respectively!😀

St Etienne went down to 10 men in the 72nd min. They are now third in the table.

Carlisle Utd went down 2-0 away to Derby County yesterday and will play in League 2 next season.

In front of a sold out crowd of 31,027

Congratulations to Derby County on their automatic promotion to The Championship.

St Etienne beat Caen 1-0 at home yesterday and are now second behind Auxerre in Ligue 2.

They also won 2-0 away against Grenoble Foot 38, during the week

St Etienne drew 1-1 at home with Rodez on Friday. They are down to third in Ligue 2.

They play Rouen away this coming Friday.

At the end of each season, the top two teams in Ligue 2 are automatically promoted to Ligue 1, while the third-place team enters a playoff with the team finishing 18th in Ligue 1.
