Simon Johnson is linking us to Luis Enrique in this summer along with Belletti as DOF.
Would be quite the shift in style for the club after Benitez, Mourinho and Conte as the last three managers but if Conte leaves i wouldn't mind it.

Would take some heavy investing to make it work but if the club/Roman was prepared to do that it could be exciting. Belletti as DOF and Enrique as manager sounds like a good team as well.

 

If Enrique rocks up wanting to play 4 at the back I can see it all going pear shaped to be honest. I think a move back to 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 would as you say need some serious investing at a time the club seems reluctant to do so.

Sounds like FSW and Zenden to me. A former player in the background won't make any difference, if they don't have any real affinity with the fans.

He's not doing too badly this season. He's got Barcelona 11 points clear at the top of table, still unbeaten, won all but 3 games, and only conceded 10 goals in 21 league games. I'm not saying i want him or anything, i want Conte to stay, but if Barcelona fans don't like him then they should be a bit more grateful. If Guardiola can receive so much praise for what he is doing with City this season, then so should Luis Enrique.

I will always have time for Belletti but I have serious reservations about Enrique. If Carlo leaves Simeone would be a better fit for us
