6 years ago we were played off the park by Barca but we came back from 2-0 down with 10 men at their place to draw. That's because we had men.
 
We played well today, didn't get the breaks, but football is about winning, and too many times this season we've seen we're brittle. That's because we have boys.

Willian and Kante deserve a lot of credit. Hazard was quiet unfortunately. The best thing we can say about Giroud is that he's not Morata. Mind you, that's the best thing you can say about anybody. I thought Giroud did quite well, but he's not a man. Didier Drogba was a man.

I don't buy that the players weren't trying. It looked to me like they'd stuck to the manager's plan but lost faith in the tactics and were hoping for Conte to change things.
Also, we looked mentally knackered from defending all game. No matter that we went into the game fresher, we were chasing shadows most of the game.

Uncanny for me how much he reminds me of Torres. I didn't lose patience with Torres but I think I've lost it with already with Morata. Would much rather have Giroud starting.

Really happy with the application, Stamford Bridge is a cauldron on these nights and I've really missed them. I fear how we are going to keep this intensity up over the course of the next few games, Manchester lot and then away to Barcelona. Well, I predicted 0-4 before the game, so pleased with 1-1, reminds me of semi final v Arsenal in 2004, we drew at home 1-1, then went a goal down at the library, but that goal didn't make any difference we still needed to get a goal and up stepped Frank and then bridge in final minute, so on a positive, in the nou camp we've basically got a free hit, because if we make a mistake or try to be more expansive and get picked off it doesn't matter, we will still be in game needing a goal, another thing and a very important thing, if there is one team in Europe that Barca have a bit of complex with its us, to many big battles over the years with us is playing with their heads, they might of thought different players different team, but no, we are still there pissing them off and making a nuisance of ourselves, when we scored the camera panned around and Messi, iniesta and pique's faces said it all, not these f**kers again they were thinking, roll on the nou camp, we're coming for you again Barca!!! Surprised no one has mentioned Eden Hazard so far. I feel its the first time he's going in to a game of this calibre as our leading light and world super star- (Im aware he was an important part of the team that got to the semis a few years back) but he's at the peak of his powers now and properly world elite. 
Barcelona train with the only guy in the world better than him at dribbling but hopefully he's got the marbles to really turn it on Tuesday.

Terrible yesterday, terrible since we bought him except for maybe two massive performances (home to united sticks out) but the fans having a go at him isnt going to help. 

Can't stand him in the false 9. He's way too good on the ball to be the final link in the chain. Put him absolutely anywhere else so he can see a lot of the ball and the ball will get up to a proper 9 much quicker and more often.

i still have faith in him, but not sure the manager knows his best position. i think if he was told to go forward more he would be more effective. he looks total opposite to matic (who's comfortable sitting deep) as he's powerful and likes to drive forward with the ball. just doesn't look like he's comfortable being a defensive minded centre mid at all. i wouldn't be surprised to see him thrive offensively. i would prefer to see a four at the back, kante sitting in front of the defence and bakayoko pushed further forward.

Had a reputation in Italy and Spain for missing glorious chances and missing easy ones but I'm not complaining if he keeps this strike rate up. I think he's one of those strikers who needs less time to think and better on instinct. Really like his link up play. I consider him an upgrade to Costa in all departments except he's not as 'in your face', tenacious even, which was Costa's best quality. 

I'm beginning to think Wenger was right about Mourinho's.

Last time we beat Utd in the league at home Jose shouted in Conte's ear, for no f**king reason.
