Even more impressive when you think Ampadu would have played and made us even stronger if he hadn't been injured. I didn't realise Ampadu is the son of the Arsenal youth team coach. Someone at Chelsea deserves credit for signing him when he could have easily ended up at Arsenal with his old man.

Yea and a physical presence too, I’ve been impressed with him all season, he is very composed and is also an excellent crosser. There’s a few in the academy that I think have earned a debut, hopefully a couple will get a look in next season.

What surprised me last night is his range of passing. He hit a couple of fantastic long balls and found his man too. I don't watch him enough, but when I have he's always been calm on the ball and doesn't get beat often. I think the benefit of Europa next season will be that we hopefully see some more youth in the dead rubber games.

I like everyone would love to see some of these guys make it and save the club money and having home grown talent come through. The last step which is a big one is down to the individual player himself. People can moan about players not getting a chance,  but they can go on loan or choose to leave.

The stats show that after JT, Bertrand made it but left for more game time which is admirable. Other than R L C at Palace Chalobah and Solanke at Liverpool getting very few minutes, know one from the system has come through and set the Prem on fire which is needed to play for a top side.

Bamford Macechran Bruma kalas Piazon Feruez Brown Kane off the top of my head are playing Championship football at best with some others playing various levels abroad proves none of them were good enough to be a regular starter with us.

so the module at the moment works well that if you aren’t quite good enough you’ve been given good tuition and tools to go away and earn a living and the club get a transfer fee.
