Reece James looks quality. So composed. I like Gilmour too. 

What I like about Hudson-Odoi is he has that selfish nature about him. Some might not like it, but the majority of goal scorers have that about them. 

My word the gulf in class between the two teams is huge...our academy is so good, it's frightening

such a talented group, would like to Hudson Odoi get at least one first team start before the season ends. Reece James and Gilmour always stand out for me too.

That's something the club has got to change. 

We're quite good at this level. Now to push on and get some first team football. 

Great win. Dominated over the two legs, Arsenal seemed to looked beat as the game started. Still got to find the National problem of these young men becoming first team regulars.

Fantastic win. This team is a joy to watch. Our academy is truly exceptional.

Trouble is, with first team coaches coming and going, whoever is in charge probably thinks I can’t risk playing the youth, or it might be my job, I just hope a few of these kids get a chance.

Jody Morris really impresses as a coach...loved his interview post match when he revealed he told the players at half-time they were boring him with their play and did they want to win it by just scraping over the line? No wonder their standards don't drop...they were in total control in the first half and he still wasn't happy...got the response he wanted though as chelsea raised their game even more 

Wouldn't mind seeing Jody Morris as a club manager tbh. Be interesting to see what he can do. 

I think Reece James needs to be given a spot in the squad. He's such a tidy little player at RB. 

What a record we have in this Youth Cup. Another very impressive display last night. Hard to pick out one player as it was a good team performance but Hudson-Adoi will probably grab the headlines and I would like to see him get some game time with the first team in the last three games of the season.

 

This team is impressive, five years in a row is an incredible achievement. It’s about time more of these lads start breaking into the first team. I think we need a long term strategy with the right manager who can bed these lads into the team. We may have to wait a few years for some success but the long term benefits could be great.
