That's a great turn-out for a friendly and with thousands of ST sold this season it's looking good for the 'Gers. I wonder how many 'Gers fans will wear the 3rd strip shirts of Orange this Thursday. Would be appropriate! Could be that Rangers play Chelsea in the Europa League.

Looking forward to the first league game of the season away to Aberdeen on August. Watch that and then watch the Community Shield match.

Think I'd describe that as a resolute away performance tonight. Got a good goal. A deft finish from Morelos. The Croatians made more chances than Rangers but with one exception didn't really look like  scoring.

Good result, this lot could nick a goal at Ibrox. Plenty to play for.

So far so good for the Gers. Will be hard to integrate so many new players but defence seems more stable, Shagger was a good signing as keeper. Difficult opening fixtures will give a better indication of the seasons prospects, 4 pts from trips to Pittodrie and the Piggery would be a decent return.

Good result last night. Young Jack had a good game and next up it's Maribor of Slovenia - it's so tough to even reach the group stage of the Europa League, crazy stuff.

Aberdeen on Sunday, I think we'll see Rangers get the league season off to a good start. Definitely looking more organised defensively so far so I fancy a sneaky 1-0 win.

Pity about conceding so late on but there were a lot of positives in Rangers performance today. Played much of the game with 10 men and still looked the more dangerous. Were comfortable in defence for much of the game. A good start, just a pity we couldn't take all 3 points.

An insight into the origin of the fighting between Croatian fans and Bears ahead of the match on Thursday. Some shocking stuff here.

All religious BS aside that's pretty hilarious that you have your rivals helping out foreign fans get the drop on you, plus I read that a rangers fan smashed in a young lad of 15 or 16 when they played over there so it's swings and roundabouts I suppose lol crazy Scottish pricks the lot of um [emoji23]

The referee for this weekend's game between Rangers and St Mirren is, eh, ex-St Mirren player Don Robertson :laugh2:

No chance of a conflict of interest there then? Could you imagine the outcry if an ex-player refereed his old club's matches in the Premier League?

Important night at Ibrox tonight. Hard to know what Maribor will be like but so far is this new season they played 5, scored 10 in 2 games - failed to score in 3 games and only conceded 2 goals in a 5-2 win. No idea what standard of opposition that was against.

Anyway, spirits are high at Rangers things are looking a lot better than they were only a few months ago.

Come on Rangers!

bit of a rollercoaster that tonight. great start scored early then Maribor sussed out the Rangers midfield and bossed much of the first half. They also scored a peach of a goal to equalise. 1-1 at half time was fair enough.

whatever Gerrard said at the break Rangers took a complete stranglehold of the game in the second half and ran out 3-1 winners

looks like better times are returning to Ibrox - thank goodness!

this tie's not over, I think Rangers will need a goal in Slovenia

Last night's game was difficult enough UFA sat back a lot and were pretty decent defensively. Rangers did get a goal and kept a clean sheet which is great for the return leg next Thursday. I'm reasonably confident they can get through to the group stages but this tie is by no means settled.

Still unbeaten, still haven't gone behind - wow!

Motherwell next on Sunday with a score or two to settle over a broken nose.
