All i'm saying is its not like Sarri has no money to work with. Another difference is the players purchased with that money. City's players were players that contributed and improved their style of play; while Chelsea spent ~£90M on Bakayoko, Drinkwater and Barkley who all either struggled or barely saw the field due to injuries. Granted my tone would be different if Bakayoko didn't have that terrible patch in the middle of the season and we actually saw Barkley play more than 15 minutes.

Yet United fans are dreading this season and we can't wait for it to start. I do believe in general that trophy's are the important thing at big clubs but there has to be a line somewhere. Mourinho has sucked all life and enthusiasm out of utd and there fans, we have a new manager who is positive and enthusiastic and that in any walk of life can be very infectious, if anyone saw mourinho press conference last night will know if he was still here we would be having grave doubts about him. Sad to say our once great manager has turned in to a complete bell end!!!!

You’re suppose to pluck random numbers from the depths of your mind.

Sad to say our once great manager has turned in to a complete bell end!!!! I know a couple of Man Utd ST’s and they’re not enthralled with his brand of football. When he was appointed the hierarchy probably gambled that defensive football and his confrontational demeanour would be acceptable provided he won the title. The way things stand they don’t look like upsurping City and the fans have to watch dour football. Be amazed if he’s still in the job come end of season.
July 26, 20187 yr Yes it will be interesting watching to see how JM's third season progresses he said near the start of last season he would need another transfer window, he hasn't got the players he wanted like Perisic so it does not look too sunny. He has the gift of manipulating the media which he uses well yet there are a hardcore of supporters there that believe the UTD way is free flowing attacking football and think JM is too defensive. JM seems to have no answer to Pep yet unless he pulls a rabbit out of the magician's hat in the next three weeks it looks more of the same and a probable exit at season's end unless of course he loses his cool and implodes. July 28, 20187 yr I just read this story where Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis said Sarri's behavior was rude. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't AdL fire Sarri?
July 28, 20187 yr Roman and Marina are at the match tonight, apparently sarri been to meeting with them today. Hopefully this was the plan all along, let sarri have a couple of weeks to work with the squad, and see what areas we need to strengthen in the next 10 days.
