Hard choice today, I don't think anybody had a great game. Hazard just takes it for me though, he was the most involved in our attacks.

Marcos. Again. 

As Scott has mentioned its very hard to pick a man of the match today as no one really stood out and had an outstanding performance.

The midfield dominated and recovered the ball extremely well and therefore could have gone to any of the three.  

Alonso also keeps producing in the final third which probably means he pips it for me.

Yeah Alonso sort of got the winner, even if a little lucky, but he did this move earlier on that had me dribbling. He received the ball with sublime control (wish we had eleven players with his first touch)  then as the challenge came in he did a one two with his feet two foot apart and sold it to the tackler who ploughed into him completely flummoxed and gave away the free kick.

That goal Messi scored in the WC when he reached out and brought the ball under control and scored, Marcos could do that, put him up front and see.

Jorginho for me. He completely ran the show. He is a world class playmaker.

Alonso popped up for the big moments yet again.

Rudiger was great but I can't give a centre back motm when the opposition had less than 20% of the ball. 

Hazard got sky's motm, I thought he did okay, kept trying to make things happen despite receiving some rough treatment, and it was a difficult game for attackers, very little space to do anything.

Marcos could do that blindfolded with both legs tied together standing on a rolling log in shark infested water. I haven’t even mentioned the frickin’ laser beams yet!

I had a hard time in picking between Jorginho & Kante - The Midfield 3 bossed the match - whenever a barcode attempted to break, one of the 3 were there - also a shoutout for Tony Rudiger - that shot he had in the 2nd half was very nice too bad it hit the bar - I had to see the replay because for me the cameraman missed the shot & the ball

It's got to be that man again, Marcos Alonso.

In a game we dominated possession wise,it's important we close the door at the back. Rudiger for me was MoM, he snuffed out any danger that came within his sector and kept the ball recycled well.
