Yea, especially under Maldini, he’s serious about Milan being back in the big time, this is not going to be a repeat of 2011. New Milan stadium set to be ready for 2024/2025, the new ownership has virtually wiped off the debt now too, so no need to offload anyone unless it’s stupid money.

Some of that depends on the player. But he seems very happy in Milan and hopefully it stays that way. A few years ago I was hoping that Tomori and Guehi would be a future CB partnership for us and maybe even England. But we let both go. At least we hopefully have a sensible buy back clause in place with Palace for Guehi. Maybe bring him back in a couple if years if he continues to progress.
May 23, 20224 yr I think Tomori was probably the best of the academy defenders we sold off. Or at least the one most capable of breaking into the first team. How we ended up with Sarr as fourth choice and sold Tomori is a bit of a mystery. I think we're a bit screwed with centre backs. Losing both Rudiger and Christensen at the end of this season is very poor planning. Are two replacements even enough given that Silva is 38 and Azpi might be leaving as well? It's a crazy situation to be in.

I think the chance to make a legacy at a club like this will likely override anything else bar an utterly obscene payrise. It's got a bit lost in the last decade just how huge Milan are, when every aspect is factored in only Madrid are bigger.
May 23, 20224 yr We could have a proper replacement for Rudiger... Anyways, I hope to see him in the starting lineup for England. So happy for him to win that Seria A, being a crucial player and put a good defensive performance for all the season.
