The last major trophy for Chelsea to complete the set (discounting the new Europa Conference, for now).

Hard to be sure where this will be held of course. Regardless, anyone making plans?

Really want to win this. The loss to that Brazilian team in 2012 hurt because I think it would have been nice to have the recognition of being the best club in the world through that competition as well.

There were recent plans to revamp the competition and that would have included previous ucl winners and Europa from up to around 3-4 seasons ago and we actually qualified from our 2019 win. Alas covid changed everything and the plans were scraped.

Therefore, our only hope to play in the competition was to win the ucl and fortunately that's exactly what we did.

Let's hope we go all the way this time and not lose in the finals!

Yeah I was there in Yokohama that night. Corinthians fans from Brazil alone took up about 50% of the stadium. We had the Japanese fans though.

They take the tournament very seriously over there in South America and hopefully we do the same this time.

Winning it will establish Chelsea firmly on the global stage.

Be nice to win it, even if it's just the once, just to cross it off the list.  Having said that I couldn't name you three previous finals in this competition.

Really desperate to win this.
