When the defenders can't find their wide backs, the front men run into space for the ball to be played down the channels for the front men.

Have to say we should be doing something like this at club level.

Not a great tournament to watch so far, the Euros had many more exciting games. Egypt and Salah had their 3rd game in a row that went 120 minutes, he must be tired as hell.

Hopefully the best GK in the land will pick up his first international trophy on Sunday.

Cameroon had plenty of opportunities yet final ball or finihs was just not composed.

On other occasions two of them went for the same ball.

Salah in normal time due to a short back pass was in with just the keeper to beat, yet his first touch let him down and the keeper cleared.

Cameroon poor for the penalties and their highly rated keeper could not save one.

Next up the Pharaohs vs Lions of Senegal.

Yes good to see Mendy saving from Salah.

Salah is almost a one-man show for Egypt with feeding off scraps.

Senegal throwing in decent crosses yet no-one is up with the play to convert. 

I think Salah talking into the keepers ear put Sane off. It made him think and ended up just smashing the penalty straight at the keeper.

Also, what are the BBC thinking having Jenas presenting? 😐

Jenas presenting is fine, it means his lack of actual knowledge is expected.

Not sure I appreciate the Man City bias in the studio, bloody typical of the BBC's obvious hatred for everything that (continued ad nauseam)

Jenas with this BBC presenter persona is insufferable, it's like he's trying to act like Linekar but instead just comes across false and smug.

Enjoyed the referee laying down the ground rules in English to the Senegalese guy and the Egyptian guy.

Mendy's technique from penalties is poor. I think moving on the line like he does doesn't help him. Kepa will jump on the line then go stiff until the penalty taker hits it. Kepa makes it hard for the penalty taker, Mendy makes it easy.

No moving on line, and he saves it!!!
