Salah pulled a Ronaldo. He didn't even get to take a penalty when he should have been one of the first! He let his ego get in the way.

If Salah cared that much maybe he should have done more in the two hours he had on the pitch than stand around trying to look important...

To save time I recommend shortening it to plain old ‘Champion’. 

Mane looked very nervous lining up for that last penalty, credit to him he then buried it beautifully.

Senegal for me deserved it as Egypt were too negative over the 90mins.

Mane could have gone for niggly fouls and Salah with no support did some magnificent dribbling at times.

Egypt generally for me fouled more than Senegal.

Mendy did a lot of movement on the line and seems to have put at least one penalty taker off. 

Nice of Mane to have a few words with Salah at the end. 

Well done Mendy. Well deserved.

Hopefully that helps him and he spends a bit more time with Cech and Kepa to improve his penalty technique.

I celebrated the Mendy save more than anything England has ever done, somebody should come round and revoke my citizenship

Glad for Senegal, think they deserved it overall in the tournament.

Tonight was not exactly the most thrilling final for most of it, Egypt tough to overcome as usual through this tournament, and both keepers Gabaski and Mendy probs the best two performing players in the final, some good saves.

Really enjoyed seeing Mendy get that key save in the shootout, and best keeper award after the match - congrats to him and the Senegal team and nation!
