Which was obvious for everyone to see from minute 1, Potter must have seen what was happening, he could of changed it very quickly, like he's done in previous games, but the fact he didn't and we went in at HT 3-0 suggests Potter was being stubborn, or he wasn't watching, take your pick.

I don't understand what the plan was. We were way too offensive. Yes, we got into plenty of good position offensively and probably should have created and scored more but scoring hasn't been our strength for a while.

Honestly, this team is a bit of a mess. I don't know what to do I were potter. Without wb, back 5 is difficult. We can try Azpi there but it mean 0 offensive threat. I like Ben but we need to be careful with him.

On paper we should play back but everytime we play back 4, we always revert back to back 5 in few games because it is just a bit scary watching our team playing in back 4.

Cucu was exposed big time because our two wb/winger did not want to defend.

Arrogance. The line up was incredibly arrogant playing those two at wingback when they can not or will not defend.

If we were City and had KdB or Haaland to bail us out I would understand it more, but we had warnings we were not doing well in the last 3 league games. This has been coming.

Where exactly has he proven it? One cup in 2 years at Dortmund? Or maybe you meant PSG, where he (unsurprisingly) walked a 1 horse race with one of the most expensive squads ever assembled?

His title win percentage at PSG was 50% above two of his three predessesors and his successor.

We got Brighton's manager, bought their player, and probably will buy more from them in the coming Windows. No wonder we lost, Boehly is trying to build a mini Brighton at Chelsea, and it will take time. We will get better, next time it will be only 1:2 or even a draw.

Good point that - Who did we replace Eden Hazard with?

cant give any team a 3 goal head start and expect anything out a premier league game. Brighton were everything we were not, fair play to them. Potter has his work cut out with this squad, needs a complete overhaul
