The only way we have a shot at Alvarez is if City get annihilated by Financial fair play but that’s gonna be a 2 year+ process. The Jesus sale made sense as he had reached his ceiling and at 25 years old it was the last chance to get a decent fee. Alvarez is on a 6 year deal, City have all the power on this one.. the fee would have to be marquee signing level; unless he has some genius level agent and not the guy who represents Caicedo 😅

I wouldn't even consider this question before we have a sustainable coaching solution. Very unpopular opinion right now but I'm not willing to draw any conclusion on Havertz under the Potter regime. He is looking particularly bad, but as a young center forward, the complete lack of structure and confidence in the team is hitting him particularly hard. He is young and yet I saw a lot of promising signs during his partnership with Werner. Can we rule out that under the right manager, Havertz and Nkunku could form a productive partnership?

Another massive advantage of getting in a new coach now would be to get a more accurate picture of our current squad's potential before the summer. Based on right now, we might as well sell every single player. We may well conclude that Havertz isn't cutting it (at least in that role) and that we should buy a new striker, but there's no point thinking about that now. Getting the right manager must be our number 1, 2 and 3 concern, everything else follows.

Eh...he had a lot of opportunities under Tuchel as well and he didn't do well. I also wasn't impressed by his performances for Germany during the WC. If we keep giving him chances his value keeps dropping and we'll end up having to loan him out like the likes of Bakayoko and co. Personally, I think this summer is the perfect time to sell him.

Because he's soon realizing a player of his quality shouldn't be second fiddle to anyone. Much like Jesus.

He's only started 10 game this season in 9the League and Champions League, and it isn't going to get better so long Haaland is at City. Good mates with Enzo which is a bonus.

Like with Jesus, he has a profile that just suits us to a tee.

Am guessing he has several years left though unlike GJ and RS.

It’s tough to pick at the moment as so many players have struggled in this position that you have to look at our style of play.

when you watch in the stadium you get to see those that stand still or those that are making runs and not being given the service. Got to decide if we get a number nine that you have to cross the ball at times  and know when we make patterns of play that we deliver crosses.

Osimhen is the hottest thing in Europe at the moment and he won’t be cheap. Remember how difficult Napoli are to deal with, I’m not surprised they were happy to see back of Koulibaly.

I’d go for Vlahovic, Juventus are in a mess at the moment and we could get him for cheap, a low risk deal imo. Plus he’s also one of the highest rated strikers in Europe, only 23. He’d suit us a lot imo, he’s very good at holding the ball and linking up, he’s a complete striker.
