Nicolas Jackson Song

Featured Replies

First of all: hi fellow blues 👋 First time posting on here!

With Nicolas Jackson seemingly on the verge of signing for us – reports say he’s having his medical over the weekend – I thought I’d get the ball rolling on a song for our (potential) new striker. I don’t really know how player chants ever catch on, but thought I’d try my luck on here.

To the tune of Outkasts’s ‘Ms. Jackson’:

Nicolas Jackson (oh), he is unreal,

He is gonna make your keeper cry,

Stick it in the net a trillion times

And rinse and repeat 🙂

Catchy song aside, what do we think blues? Potentially good signing? From what I’ve seen, has bags of potential but currently very raw – that’s the pattern of player we’ve gone for these last few seasons.

Amazing stuff. Have high hopes for the lad after closely watching few youtube compilations. This and the Badiashile song are the new anthems

Todd Boehly went to France in a yellow lamborghini

Brought us back a centre back - Benoit Badiashile

The mispronunciation of ,,Badiashile'' gets me the most

Fingers crossed mate. Not sure if he’s going to be brought in as a main striker or ultimately play second fiddle while he develops, but would love for us to buy someone relatively unknown who becomes a star. How many times have we seen other clubs do that while we buy big-money flops?

Azpi was probably the last, non academy, one?

Yeah can’t think of any others after him. We signed Eden at around the same time and, although he came with much higher expectations, I don’t think we expected him to hit the ground running quite like he did.

Not rating him tbh. Would rather keep the funds back and try for Martinez at Inter..

Quite different profiles of player really. Could argue that Martinez is a poorer version of Nkunku – quick, nippy, likes to play off more of a focal point up top. Jackson might not be an instant fix, but can see why Pochettino wants him in terms of style of play.

Surely it should be based on Toni Basil.

Hopefully he will blow our minds.

"Our Nicky, leads the line, scoring goals, all the time, our Nicky, (clap clap), our Nicky (clap clap)"

The original video lends itself to some excellent potential goal celebrations based on Toni's dance moves LOL
