The clickbait has resurfaced Tomas Araujo interest. We have pretty good relations with Benfica - likely in part due to the wheelbarrows of cash that have gone their direction over the years. Perhaps a path here with Felix going the other direction?

Without having any clue who Araujo is, I'm very interested if it means Felix going to the way. Only because it could mean restarting Felix's career of course, nothing to do with offloading someone who isn't working out for us 😇

Interesting. What do you like about. I'll be honest I find it difficult to find right footed, right sided CBs that are better than Chalobah all round when I look on these Squawka type comparisons. What is Araujo like, on the basis that it is probable that they will sell Chalobah.

Cliched rolls royce CB. Comfortable on the ball, wins aerial duels, reads the game well at a young age, and has leadership qualities.

I'm starting to question though if we really do need a new CB.

Thanks. As mentioned i similarly wonder who out there, in our price range, is better than Chalobah, on a data driven basis.

But I guess that's not what it's about with this lot. If they can get someone comparable, in the price range, they can then flip Chalobah for pure profit. Screw the good of the team or the fans, it's all about the Net Asset Value after all.

Don't really need a young CB, we need a CB at his prime or a soon to be retired CB with some chip on his shoulder.

Rudiger would be perfect if he wasn't on some mad wages.

But if we have to go the young route, please sign Murillo
