Posted May 21, 200816 yr I think i spotted it at the back of the stand, not sure, but i made out 2 circles of gold like on ours, keep your eye out for it and post if you notice where it is.
May 21, 200816 yr In the first half, back behind our goal, in the far left, it looked like that was our banner back there. The light actually wasn't that great on it, as one of the circles wasn't that visible, and the writing wasn't visible at all. But I think that is where I seen it too

May 22, 200816 yr i thought i saw it...hmm how to describe this. Watching on t.v. as the camera moved over to the right, it was white with blue writting, but ours has a blue background...maybe i saw the wrong one
May 22, 200816 yr Nearly back in the land of the living ! .. still knackered. Had some travel nightmares but made it and made it back. The banner... first of all, whoever takes this monster in the future, take someone with you to help.. although I had loads of people helping me out, they disappeared after the match when I had to retrieve it, fold it up, get out of the ground al before the W****** lifted the trophy.. no mean feat. The banner was displayed half way up on the right of the goal as you face it... it was difficult to display as I was right next to the players tunnel and the russian police, army and every other type of uniformed bod had a big say in where I could put it. Although they did help me tie it up ! Tried to get out in Red square.. almost arrested !!! (talking about the banner still btw ) Went through several security checks during the day and had to get it out and fold it again several times.. a nightmare !!! Anyway the positives... it had so many comments, positive ones, everyone was very impressed. I have some of my photos which I will have to try and retireve from a knackered Camera.. (it basically got soaked !!) ... Most of the photo's where taken outside the ground. there were several press photogrophers as well. of the English press there was The Mail and The Mirror.. I am not sure if they will appear.. but they took photo's with some women holding it, and standing in front of it, russian soldiers, all sorts.. lots of people coming up and wanting their photo taken. There were basically hundreds of photo's taken.... As a precausion I got the email address of some others there who took poto's so some should appear soon hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will do my best. Coco... the banner went down really well ! Thanks mate, PM where you wanted it posted backed to, try and do it over the weekend. We were robbed btw... I am gutted but very proud to be there, and very proud of the team

May 23, 200816 yr Some of my own recovered pics posted in the Gallery... Apologies for the quality of some of them. Spent a lot of time holding the thing so found out that I did not have many of the banner itself. There are a few more I can post later. Also, hopefully some more to come soon form other cources.... plus I got quite a few of the Stadium etc.. afraid the camera went away at Kick off and didnt come out again for obvious reasons !
