Posted June 11, 200816 yr Am I correct in thinking that the new season fixtures are usually out in mid-June? Can find nothing on the FA site although a Google search took me to Millwall FC of all places and they are offering to SMS them to subscribers AFTER next Thursday 19th? Is that the big day As I am now getting major withdrawl symptoms?
June 11, 200816 yr Why Millwall mate? They are stuck in League One! The fixtures for Premiership are out on the 16th of June (and yes, an SMS update is available). All you have to do is go to the 'Text Version' of the Chelsea site and click on 'next match' on the right hand side
June 13, 200816 yr From the official site: Luiz Felipe Scolari has not long to wait to find out the opposition for his first competitive fixture in charge of Chelsea. The new Barclays Premier League fixtures are announced on Monday morning. The full league programme for the whole season will be unveiled, including our first ever top flight fixtures against last season's Carling Cup opponents Hull City, and our first league encounters against Stoke City since the 1988/89 season. We last faced the Potteries side in the top flight 23 years ago. Chelsea have been handed a Stamford Bridge opening weekend fixture in three out of the last four seasons. The 2008/09 fixtures will be revealed on chelseafc.com on Monday morning at approximately 10am. Discover our first match via SMS by signing up to Chelsea Mobile text alerts. My money is on us getting Man U at home in April and also Newcastle away in May (AGAIN!).
June 13, 200816 yr First game of the season,I will bet my bottom dollar that CHELSEA will be drawn (away) @ Man U. Will make up for the Champion`s Leage defeat.Terry to score on the opening day of the season. Like most people, cant wait for the season to start.
June 14, 200816 yr My games a season have been limited living here in Edinburgh. Im going to London in November at a weekend so im hoping for a home game then
June 16, 200816 yr First game of the season: Pompey at home, with Sunderland away on the last day of the season. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3696811,00.html

June 16, 200816 yr That's a pretty tricky start to the season if you ask me, we need to be firing on all cylinders early doors to avoid any slip ups that's for sure. Am I right in thinking that last season our games against Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool were all away in the first half of the season, now this season they're all at home. Conspiracy anyone?!?
June 16, 200816 yr All our home games against manure, liverpool and arsenal are in the first half of the season and all the away in the second half - is that good or bad?

June 16, 200816 yr i reckon its a good draw, no run of so called big games why is the fa cup final so late next season??
June 16, 200816 yr The games against the "big" teams are evenly spread. We could get some sort of winning run going.
June 16, 200816 yr Half of these dates and times mean nothing. They will be changed for TV. Shhhhhh!! Don't jinx our next p*ss-up before we have even set a date for it (Obsessed? Yes, I am.)
June 16, 200816 yr We certainly need to hit the ground running and make the most of the easier first part of the season. Manure have got their 3 tough games over 8 weeks. September 13 Liverpool (A) 20 Chelsea (A) November 8 Arsenal (A)
June 16, 200816 yr Tough last 6 games for me with 3 London derbies . Le Arse look like the make or break game on who wins it this year for us
