July 21, 200816 yr Boulahrouz agrees Stuttgart terms! Played well in Euro's and deserves to play much more. I wish him well in the future. He left a small mark in Chelsea by blanking Ronaldinho in that great evening. That is all.
July 21, 200816 yr Deadwood cleared, although this time at a loss. Still, i guess as long as the TBH deal goes through, we are still doing a decent job of off loading our surplus players for a reasonable wedge.

July 21, 200816 yr I was sure he was going to go on loan again...so from the viewpoint this is great news. Don't loan...sell!
July 21, 200816 yr Chelsea Football Club has agreed a fee for the transfer of Khalid Boulahrouz to VfB Stuttgart in Germany. We would like to thank Khalid for his contribution while he was at Chelsea FC and we would like to wish him luck at his new club. Chelsea FC Official Site
July 21, 200816 yr Well, it's certainly all happening this week and it's only Monday. The sooner the Frank and DD situations are clarified the better, as the last thing we need is one or both of them leaving towards the end of the window and us having to scramble to find replacements in time.

I don't think we would need to bring ina replacement for Frank. Didier we definitely would.
July 21, 200816 yr Good stuff Chelsea. More dead-wood cleared! Keep it going! Exactly! So come on Chels, how much did we get for him?
July 21, 200816 yr True Loz, but I do think whether Frank leaves or not will have some impact on our transfer dealings, so the sooner it is clarified the better.
July 21, 200816 yr not a huge loss to chelsea Well only £6 million quid if the fee's are correct . Brought for £10 million sold for £4 million ! What credit crunch ?
July 21, 200816 yr Well, after his loan spells and the euro's he had, I wouldve liked to have seen Boula get another shot, but that probably would have just depressed his value even further. I cant help but wonder, however, how valuable the guy we saw play for the Netherlands would have been in covering all across the back four positions. Versatility like that is hard to find (see: Gallas, William) Best of luck to him, and very sorry about his family tragedy.
July 23, 200816 yr Good luck Boulah No real need for him anymore. As stated, he kept Ronnie in his back pocket all game, but other than that..... Best of luck
July 24, 200816 yr No real need for him anymore. As stated, he kept Ronnie in his back pocket all game, but other than that..... Best of luck true. At least for all the bad performances, there was that sterling moment where he locked up the world's best like it was nothing. I doubt many people who saw that will ever forget it
July 24, 200816 yr Boula will always have my respect for having the balls to play just a couple of days after the death of his child. Not many poeple would have the inward strength to do that. All the best to you and your wife Boula
July 24, 200816 yr I would love to see the back of him. I remember one game, against Arsenal. When he bicycle kicked someone and they got a pen. Bad move. We could of won that match.

Not many poeple would have the inward strength to do that. All the best to you and your wife Boula Absolutely. Apparently this move was made mainly for family reasons (so it said on SSN). pretty sure we were looking to get rid too though. I wish Charles Bronson well.
