loz
Much as it sticks in the throat to say it I have to admit Liverpool fully deserved the win. Man Utd, once more, showed that without Ronaldo they are lacking in quality up front without a single player looking keen on scoring. Vidic sent off very late on which means he will miss the game against us which is a big bonus.

I watched the game and agree Liverpool were good for their win. Get ready for proclamations of this being Liverpool's year and all that tripe. Good news on the Vidic sending off which is indeed a bonus but I do feel Man Utd are going to be right up for getting a result against us next week after a pretty ordinary performance today. Virosh
Manure lose to the Scum, nobody likes to see that! I do. Last four years it has been a race between us and United for the EPL. Liverpool will be out of it again by March or thereabouts, but United won't be. So I take this result as 3 points lost for United and nothing else. Now don't get me wrong, I hate Liverpool with all my heart, but if there is ONE game I fancy them to win, its this one.
Modueke
Was 'tongue in cheek' Virosh I agree with you, although I hope it's not Liverpool that are in Man Utd's normal position come the end of season! If you lose trophies, Man U is the better option to lose them to.
Alan
United were poor today, Liverpool fully deserved their win.
TheWestwayWonder
Im sure this will catapult them into the throes of the "this is the year!" stage of self belief. I just hope it isnt.
ethicalstrategy
As poor as Utd were and as much as Liverpool deserved to win, it still took a goalkeeping howler and a ridiculous piece of defending from Giggs and a lucky break for Babel for them to actually score. Alan
Robbie Keane was awful as well, reminds me of Kezman. For £20 million you'd expect him to be able to attempt a volley without falling flat on his arse.
Ruh Buh Juh
I still trying to figure out if this is a good result for Chels or not. Liverpool win pits them 3 points clear of us which puts pressure on us to perform today, but Man U are 3 points behind us still. Still, they deserved their win, Man U were good for 3 minutes, then they were utterly useless.

And Berbatov looked even worse, except for the assist, he pretty much disappeared for the rest of the game.
loz
Not too keen on pointing out poor individual performances yet! We have hardly been sparkling in our last two games and we will face a City team today desperate to put one over on us. Think I will hold back on any mocking or now!! Gem
Very pleased with this result. The Mancs will be our biggest threat to the title, unless we're battling for 4th, Liverpool won't.

TheWestwayWonder
There are numerous signs that this is "their year" more so than other years: beating the mancs, all their late escapes with three points. But that said, its not exactly all good news, because they frankly look to be just as clueless tactically as in previous years. Its a hot run for them, yes, but sooner or later, a bad result or two is going to roll in, and im not sure theyre gonna be able to react. If they get past teams like us, Arse, Spuds, or City with the same kind of results, then I will be more worried.
