any matches today?

Colombia V Costa Rica at 7.30pm GMT Columbia have some top players. From FCPorto Radamel Falcao and Fredy Guarín. Also Hugo Rodallega, Cristián Zapata and Juan Zúñiga. Costa Rica don't have much, They are only aloud an Olympic squad

Pretty poor match so far the only guy in that forward front line looking close to 40 million is Pato. Speed, movement, amazing touch and lethal finish, shame he is romancing Berlusconi's daughter.

As for Robinho.... i really dont know what he is thinking with that hair cut. It makes Neymars look fashionable.

Why do they even bother if they put restrictions on teams outside the South American zone?

Because it'd be a headache coming up with a good competition format for 10 teams. This way the scheduling works out nicely, but you're not going to get something ridiculous like Mexico being the champions of South America.

Wow, Just finished watching Uruguay V Peru. Defiantly the best game of the tournament so far. Wasn't expecting Peru to be so good but they were very impressive. But another draw what the hell is up with this years Copa. 4 draws in 5 games. Looking forward to Chile V Mexico next. Snachez, Vidal and Dos Santos are ones to watch,

If the trend continues it will probably be a tournament that sets some sort of record and with the knockouts I can foresee penalties settling most of the games. Looking forward to Argentina tomorrow, with the amount of talent they have its embarrassing to see them struggle.

Argentina V Colombia tonight. Love the Copa America. Falcao, Gaurin, Zapata for Colombia V Messi, Banega Aguero just to name a few for Argentina. 4 draws in the 1st 6 games. Time for a few winners to shine now.

And 0-0. :JC_doubledown:

And 0-0. :JC_doubledown:

Its pretty evident that Messi is not at his best (whatever the reason), the free kick which was just outside the box landed in the second tier that pretty much sealed my belief. If Batista still plays him against Costa Rica I'd like to think that it could be his last game because Argentina look a mile away from scoring and that's ridiculous given the talent they have. Full marks to Colombia though who stuck to their gameplan and look almost through to the next round.

I watched the last 20 minutes of the game and barely noticed Messi. Only time I saw him was when Argentina got a freekick in a very good position. He took it and fired the ball almost out of the stadium. A truly abysmal freekick.

Messi for Argentina is nothing like the Messi for Barcelona. Its very straneg, he just doesnt seem able to bring his qualities to the international game.
