BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
So at the time sanchez was signed he was good than the cape verde keeper? Or it just happened that you didnt know the cape verde keeper even existed?

Mistakes aside, he needs a proper midfield partner - he can't control midfield on his own and is more of a passer. But that's good, I hear it's an important part of the game. Should work well with Caicedo, not really sure about how it'll be with Lavia. I see why he wouldn't be trusted yet with a game like Arsenal, but hopefully in time. Leeds are a very tall and physical team.

The European Cup was originally a straight knock out competition with no seeding. . One season United ( who were the big draw for TV audiences) got knocked out early by Galatasery. EUFA and the TV broadcasters weren't happy. Then it was changed to a season of a 4 team mini league followed by another 4 team mini league before a knockout phase. All this was to minimise the chance of the " big" teams being knocked out. This latest league phase is just another way to protect those teams and provide a Super League.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
The guy’s a piece of sh*t. Costing him the title and allowing Leicester to win the league was a beautiful moment.

He’s a stupid typical Argentinan c**t. Didnt complain when his player had his red card rescinded by the orange man

Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
Jorginho will always be cursed because Sarri signed him to play his dreadful, soul destroying million passing, boring football. . Mind you, it was better than many recent Chelsea coaches (with Xabi being a glorious exception) had us playing and it was more successful.

Jamie Gittens joins Chelsea
A human that is going to earn 5.5M this year and the next 5 years as well for doing less work than he was doing at Dortmund? What is there to feel sorry for? He’s secured one of the most employee friendly guaranteed contracts in the world, will have generational wealth and won’t have to do much for it. I would love to be sh*te at my job, ergo giving me less responsibility and get paid double for the privilege. He’s a sh*t footballer. It’s BlueCo’s fault for spunking 60M on him and he is only financially benefitting from the situation. Absolutely 0 reason to feel sorry for him, the only people to feel sorry for, is us fans, if he sees the pitch again.

I think at times people overlook how crucial self‑reliance is. You can be absurdly talented, but if you don’t back yourself when the pressure hits, you’ll never become who you should be. RLC was, in my eyes, the most gifted Cobham product since Terry. The issue was never ability; it was that hint of timidness. With real mental steel and confidence, he’d have taken off the way Bellingham did.

Hope Conte comes out and absolutely cooks him.

An embarrassment that we had this loser on our long list of managers. He's Spurs through and through and these comments prove it yet again.

I think that this kind of sums up the issue when you make 9 changes and field a team that is not familiar and contains players that have so little first team football that they perhaps try too hard to impress and end up cocking things up. I think if he does manage a few more games beyond the league cup, he could achieve cult status at the Bridge.

MOTM vs Dirty Leeds (H) (LC)
Voted Rogers as well. At least he's getting his flowers here after being denied the official motm award to his dismay. 😂

Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
I’m so glad he didn’t go to the World Cup.

I actually thought he was culpable for the first two goal. Fannying around near our own byline, slips over and knocks the ball out for a corner. This eventually result in the corner that they score from (although i will also concede that Penders looked like he was doing a Kepa impression of tracking the ball through the air instead of trying to come for it and naturally the pussy Gusto failed to make any form of attempt of a challenge at the back post). Then for the second he again did some overly fussy turns back into trouble and lost the ball, resulting in the goal (although again James was ball watching). So on 48 minutes, i was fuming. Get the tw@t off the pitch. However by the end, because we were flying he had a solid game, scored a goal, got an assist (!) and kept us moving. On balance i think he did alright and would again be one of those performing well as part of a better group. Not ready to be the main player in a more second string line up though.

I am not sure it is a case of overhyping academy products at all. What i do think is that if we had asked somebody outside of our Chelsea bubble to name the 16 year old player out on the pitch last night a significant number would have picked Estevao, who absolutely looks like a a youth product struggling to come to terms with the physical side of senior football. I don't think the lad disgraced himself by any means and, as an example, was demonstrably better than both Gusto and Gittens. In a team bereft of durable midfield players i would not have a problem if he were brought on from the bench for cameo performances in some situations.

Could go either way. United are very up and down but City struggled to beat Coventry. Hope for a spicy games with a narrow United win and a few red cards, one being Enzo.

Im hoping Alonso migrates to 4-2-3-1. with one of the back four acting as wing back periodically Estevao starting front four (3&1)Estevao Palmer Rodgers Pedro any order and position you like. This should give excitement without excessive risk. - Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
