Huh? We don't even know where he's going to play or how City will use him. Saying he's a liability in Chelsea's pivot (something I don't fully agree with) therefore means he'll be a liability in City's system is the one assumption that makes no sense to me. They're completely different systems, with different players around him. Maybe he won't work there, but we have no idea yet. His weaknesses at Chelsea don't automatically carry over unchanged to City—same way they don't to Argentina.

Great news. Get this in time before Everton change their mind. Medical tests should consist of doctors telling him to open his eyes and ask if he sees them and then give the green light.

I'm enjoying the way we are playing now and happy with the appointments of Alonso and with the players we've bought. I never want Chelsea to lose, it's not what any fan should want. If we can get back to where we were, that's good. BUT it would mean we've spent record amounts and spent 4 years to basically stand still... And we don't know if that'll happen yet. Nah, I can't give them credit for that..

Reports going around that Balogun failed his medical and his move to Everton is off. That might mean that Monaco needs to sell a different player and opens the door to a Camara deal being back on the table. Speculation based on rumor, but something to keep an eye on in the waning hours.
