Travesty if its not addressed given that we've just spent another 40m on a defender who it seems is straight through the revolving loan door.

I agree with you both. We hobble Alonso and the team if we Mess this up. Means we either have a very good or a very bad day tomorrow.

Something's going on here. We could have loaned him to someone else and avoided any scrutiny like we've had about the way we've done the Palace loan. It must be connected maybe to Wharton?? He would be a fantastic signing for us. Let's see

As mentioned earlier I attended the Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) AGM on Saturday. I'll post my comments on the meeting later but in the meantime here is the Chair of the CST's report. https://chelseasupporterstrust.com/wp-content/uploads/CHAIRS-REPORT-2025-26.pdf

Pedro Neto *Official*
Like when he got the best of the Brighton full back and just smacked the ball into the side netting. My biggest complaint with Neto is that he always has his head down. He never looks up, so he never knows where his teammates are.

Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion (Premier League) Sunday 30th August — 14:00 BST Stamford Bridge
Now I think of it, it was a horrible performance overall that was saved by our attackers. We had so little of the ball and if Brighton had Mitoma and Welbeck, I think we would have lost that game. The amount of times we lost duels and the amount of times Brighton were on to the 2nd ball after we cleared it was concerning. Brighton are a good side, but they're not the top. We shouldn't be dominated on the ball and relying on counter attacks at home against teams that are expected to finish around mid table if we're going to be serious this season.

Chelsea Women v Real Sociedad Femenino. Women's Champions League. Wednesday, 26 August 18.45
I saw that throw in and couldn't believe that lino didn't call it a foul throw and Chelsea given the throw to take. I think that the return leg this Wednesday will only be broadcast via the Chelsea App.

We just can't stop ourselves from buying teenagers for large sums can we ? Another one who "looks good" in a league that is nothing like the Premier League. AND expecting Palace to develop him for us while they're probably battling against relegation.

We haven't quite given up on signing teenagers for big fees! This 18 year old cost £40 million apparently...Honest! "Honest Ahanor is joining Crystal Palace on loan from Atalanta ahead of a pre-agreed transfer to Chelsea. Standard Sport reported last week that Chelsea had reached an agreement for the 18-year-old to join the Blues, had agreed personal terms with the defender, and that he had been given permission to travel to London for a medical.""

Random Rumours
It’s such a glaring issue that it genuinely drags our entire window from a 9/10 down to a 6/10. Lavia is walking straight back into the same cycle — looking like a future superstar for a few flashes, then breaking down and disappearing until the new year. I am not having Reece James or Malo Gusto as constants in midfield. f**k THAT.

Random Rumours
If we mess this up and sign nobody, it brings our transfer window down to a 3 or 4 for me, just because it will absolutely destroy our season. Fulham and Brighton were a disaster off the ball in these first two games, our front 3 being in great form saved us big time. It's only a matter of time before we get comprehensively beaten and go on a run of poor results if we don't sort this out.

Our midfield as it stands is w**k. Caicedo out for who knows how long, Enzo likely f**king off to City, old man Henderson who is injured, Lavia who is probably moments away from another injury, Barco who is untested at this level, James who isn't a midfielder and is another injury waiting to happen. The way I see it is that we currently don't have a midfield. We have been sitting on this problem all summer when it should have been a priority.

Simon Phillips, via Argentinan sources, back at that 140mill euro figure: Fabrice Hawkins, man behind the manu Kone to Chelsea rumor, also gives his 2 pences worth:- Random Rumours
We need options in midfield. End of. It was apparent at the end of last season, and it's more apparent now. Saw a stat that Gusto and Lavia only completed 20 passes against Brighton.Today
- Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27
I fail to see how Maguires handballs ( it touched both hands/arms ! ) is deemed accidental, other than by making allowances for the fact he's a clumsy, thick as mince oaf. That aside, it seems a ridiculous law regardless of who benefits from it and what with that, the penalty and the attempted goal line clearance Ipswich were sh!t out of luck in that game.- Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27
No your wrong, Gallagher confirmed it was the correct decision on Sky this morning, im not saying its right but it is the rule, there was another incident last season (i can’t remember the game), and to say Maguire moved his hand towards the ball is wrong, just because its Man United shouldn’t change the rule- Estêvão
Based on a tweet by that Indy kalia f**kwit who works in kfc in Slough, for f**ks sake.- Random Rumours
Kone is more physical than Camara and would bring more steel to the midfield. Camara seems more technical though so I'm not sure what the hell we're doing...- Estêvão
Thank god for that - Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
