  1. June 11th 2007 - 'There's never been any question of him not being at Arsenal next season' + Other crap from his agent June 11th: "In my head I'm still an Arsenal player and my departure is not a current issue." June 23rd: "I still must pass a medical on Monday but yes, I have chosen Barcelona," Also, to read what the Goons think on this story, click this halarious link

*sigh* I'd take Eidur and Messi if it would help Barca out, I'm that nice.

Gallas, give us a wave, Gallas Gallas give us a wave He'll probably sign for Madrid or Barca... Or even Juve, he has too much ability to stay at le Arse. Git.
  4. Lets look at the positives from this move - Gunners are upset, their weekend is ruined. - The Premiership ((at the moment)) is a two horse race Negatives - We have to put up with tributes of him for weeks, at least up till the beginning of the season - Bloody Barca's attack, one striker will go, and it'll be probably be Eidur, and I'd be gutted if he signed for the Mancs
  5. True, but tonight is Arsenal's night, lets enjoy
  6. Its nice that at the moment we're not the club falling apart, its refreshing. Our time will come though.
  7. To be fair to the guy, he's trying to send the Spammers down, not harm in that.

Best Player: Drogba Worst Player (in 24 man first team squad): Boula Best Signing: Mikel Worst Signing: A.Cole Most exciting signing: When we signed him, Shevchenko. Never thought I'd see a player of his status at Chelsea, regardless of the money. Least exciting signing: A.Cole Biggest (positive) suprise: Drogba'ss form and attitude change, leading the frontline all season brilliantly. Biggest disappointment: Ballack, thought he'd offer more, but I believe he'll improve Most frustrating player: Robben. Stop. Being. Injured. Biggest underperformer: Ballack Biggest outperformer: Essien Mourinho lover: Well when on Ballack's form he was untouchable and Bridge wasn't, I'd have to say Ballack Mourinho hater: Set Joe Cole fre! Bravery award: Captain Terry Best attacker: Drogba Best midfielder: Lampard [i know everyone else will put Essien, but to play 60+ games to a good standard every week is amazing.] Best defender: Carvalho Biggest hot-head: A.Cole Player you'd most like to sell: A.Cole Player you'd least like to sell: Terry/Lampard/Cech Best free kick taker: Probably Geremi, one freekick, one goal, thats a good success rate. Best distributer (passing): Lampard Biggest improver: Drogba/Bridge Biggest decliner: Luckiest player: Unluckiest player: Robben Most exciting player: Joe Cole Least exciting player: Makelele, but thats what he's there for. Most consistant performer: Cech Least consistant player: Carvalho Club-man award: Terry Most selfish player: Robben, but he needs to be sometimes. *Favourite personality: Seeing how hero worshipped Drogba is in his home country, I'd say him. But also Terry. *Least favourite personality: A.Cole. Get out of my Heat magazine!!!!!!! Rising from the ashes: I guess Shevchenko, with his goal against the Spuds at 3 point lane.
  14. The Kinks! Good shout Loz, parents listened to them quite a bit too, especially for long drives.
  15. Having parents who are into the likes of Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis etc, they were my first introduction to music. I remember the first time I heard 'Peggy Sue' by Buddy and 'Jailhouse Rock' by Elvis, I was instantly hooked. Over the years I still tend to go for the 'older' generation of music, suchs as The Who and Led Zeppelin, but still keep going back to the other 3, especially the former 2. So, from an early age, all I knew was 50's icons, quite a lot of other things escape my attention (except the Spice Girls, zigga zigga ahh!) now-a-days as I feel they simply don't compare. So I was wondering, who were your first musical icons? Who did your parents listen to? Ever had a record/CD you played so much that it pretty much became a dud? The only modern day group I really like are Green Day, and still then I prefer their earlier stuff.
  16. We don't want to start with the Mancs away - we want to beat that unbeaten home record..!
  17. I don't care how tall, old, fat, good any other goalkeeper is - no one is taking Cech's place anytime soon.
  18. ESPANYOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! 2-2 at Nou Camp! Madrid back on top. I don't care who wins the title really, but Espanyol are my local Spanish team so I like to see them do well
  19. Goal Madrid - 2-2 88th minute
  20. Barca make it 1-1, or rather Messi makes it 1-1. Infact, Messi's hand of God makes it 1-1. He is the new Maradona.
  21. Hang on a sec loz, will PM you...
  22. Its like you were there..!
  23. What a ball by Beckham. Crouch 2-0
  24. Goal King Cole! great bit of control, spin and shot.
