  1. Why has he not performed this season? Oliver Holt's latest Mirror article states: Chelsea didn't win their two titles on prima donnas failing to face the music. They won them on the back of proper men like John Terry and Frank Lampard pushing themselves through new barriers of pain and endurance. I think Frank's *sigh* "poor" form is probably down to his commitment, his effort and his never give up attitude. He doesn't pick and choose him games and he plays when called upin. He doesn't suddenly get an ankle problem that leaves him out of a game, nor does use sickness as an excuse. I'd blame his determination. He wasn't bought up like some players, his dad was a pro - sickness wouldn't be an excuse. Maybe he could have sat some games out, especially as he seemed to have the flu for a couple of weeks over Christmas, but he didn't think that was a good enough reason. If Jose has rested him, he would have been rested. He isn't going to not want to play, he isn't the type to sit on the bench and count his money.
  2. I doubt it, it really isn't his style.
  3. The loss of Cech, JT and Joey. God knows where we'd be if those 3 had played more. More solid and more creative.
  4. Apparantly when their fans were singing 'wheres your title gone' etc... Steve Clarke made zero with his index and thumb and waved it at them
  5. At the Riverside when Boro held the Mancs, they were singing 'Jose Mourinho, Joe Mourinho'
  6. If those 3 futures are properly secured this off season, theres no reason why we won't come back bigger and better. We'll be back... And we'll win the title, won't get it handed to us. I bet they get a wonderful reception at the Bridge when we run out, very proud of our team.
  7. He said 'chin up' and wanted the fans to show appreciation to the players - hence pointing at them. Brilliant effort in the second half. Unfortunatley, like many games this season, it was only one half we tried to do anything in. We can still end this season on a high - if we played how we did in the 2nd half.
  8. Official site: Chelsea will line-up in a 4-3-3 formation as follows: 1 Petr Cech 20 Paulo Ferreira 13 Khalid Boulahrouz 26 John Terry © 18 Wayne Bridge 5 Michael Essien 12 Mikel John Obi 8 Frank Lampard 24 Shaun Wright-Phillips 21 Salomon Kalou 10 Joe Cole Substitutes: 23 Carlo Cudicini, 4 Claude Makelele, 19 Lassana Diarra, 47 Ben Sahar, 49 Scott Sinclair. Apparantly Drogba is injured, as is Ashley Cole [i believe that one ] - but don't be surprised to see them both at the FA Cup final. No Robben to be seen though. Maybe being saved for the Mancs?
  9. Thank you Lofty. So it really was going over old stuff... Fair enough, can't expect an exclusive every time.
  10. I missed it, anyone wanna sum up what was said? Please?

Not too into action films, but I love a good horror flick! 1. Nightmare On Elm Street - was 7 when I first saw it, my innocence was officially gone 2. Friday the 13th 3. Texas Chain Saw Massacre... probably the one that scared me the most didn't mind the remake that much either. 4. Evil Dead 5. Pet Cemetery - put me off cats, and kids for a while. My top 5. And although I can pretty much sit through all of them, I daren't touch the Saw movies, modern graphics are a bit too real
  14. Not confident at all - City are sh*t I don't even think a draw is good enough... but I'm sure IF City do get anything it'll just prolong the inevitable. We blew out chance.
  15. Excellent news! With Drogba and Kalou off for part of next season, I'd like to see him and Sahar come through and make some first team appearences.
  16. Happy days, a good day for football.
  17. I'm with you on this wun, Elliot, and we shud also get rid of Jose to. Yeah, and that no good John Terry. Cech's past it too.
  18. [For the record The Royle Family is about as funny as the plague]
  19. Is it really that? Brilliant. Not even something like 'Milan ease past Man Utd' or 'Milan storm past Man Utd' Its the word destroyed that makes it I think.
  20. @ Ruud on SS1... no luck was involved in tonight's game, Mancs outclassed by Milan. Lots of luck yesturday for Liverpool because thats all penalties are... lotto. Belittling the Mancs & Scousers, good lad.
  21. Can we keep this topic at the top, its more positive than the others in this subforum.....! Oh, and the Milan atmosphere totally showed up the Anfield one. Laughable to compare the 2
  22. Just a bit... was my MOTM.
  23. Booking for Ronaldo - apparantly he'll miss the next match now - that could be key for the derby.
  24. Not bothered about tonight really. As long as whoever goes through beat the Scousers. Yes, I am that bitter
