Yeah I meant about England too, you can build some sort of relationship but not great because you go months at times without playing with one another. But like you say Cahill and jagielka would have the best relationship anyway, so surely better to play those two? He may well be the best Man U have, he may also for some people be better for England than Jagielka, but for me that says a lot more about how sh*t both of their defensive options are. I've never said he's terrible by the way, just not a big fan. I agree stones probably isn't ready but he came into Everton and looked very comfortable so you never know, caulker and Davies are probably higher on my list than Smalling too. I don't think he's there on merit, I think he's there because of his versatility, which I can understand, but never a starter for me.

Not sure you can really build a cb pairing if you don't play at the same club. There's a difference between what you've said, I wouldn't be too gutted having him as a replacement but having him ahead of jagielka is mental. Actually united are probably the team I've seen second most of over the last ten years, my mate supports them and were often down the pub watching the games. Neither of us think much of him either cb or rb and he watches every game. If he couldn't play rb as well I wouldn't take him, same for Jones, the only reason they are going is because they are versatile, Stones and Flanagan have been better this season and are in better form.

I don't want Dzecko to be our main striker, have a feeling well bid for him though, him costa and someone else? I don't think we'd need another psychically big striker so don't see lukaku coming back in that case, maybe remy could do a job? I don't think too highly of him but he probably would of won us the league had we had him this year, well more importantly city wouldn't of had him, but if there were two of him I still think we would of won. He can score big goals and game winning goals. City won't sell him, especially not to us.

Milner will get a lot more game time than he deserves, for anyone listening to the presser it seemed clear he will go with experience and players he likes. My team would be the same as bluedave's ^^ the toughest call would be leaving out Barkely. But here's what I think he'll do; Hart Johnson Cahill Jagielka Baines Gerrard Henderson Milner Rooney Welbeck Sturridge Hoping I'm wrong of course.

Hardley a punishment, reduced to 21, we used 22 this season, its not that much of a dramatic reduction to worry teams, of our 22 players we also had some on very low appearances; - Kalas (1) - De Bruyne (2) - Van GInkel (1) - Mata (2) In fact it kind of helps teams in there selections they know who they are going to rest for which games.

Because spending loads of money always works straight away, changing your whole squad always wins you titles and every player adapts to the prem on their debut. Man U no higher than third, no where near the title.

Would be much more gutted to see Luiz go than Mata, if the money's right hell go but I do think Jose likes him and it'll be hard to get in a decent midfielder no matter what people say. He has character and really is starting to be one of the new senior players (once the likes of JT Lampard cole, Cech, Ivan go) you can't buy that. Luiz and matic in the big games has worked so well. Maybe well see matic and Oscar when we are trying to break down teams, I don't think we could improve much on either of those pairings depending on the game, and I certainty don't think we will be able to replace Luiz.

Support for England has gone down after cole being left out. I understand the decision to want to go for youth but it has to be throughout the whole team, why are Gerrard, Milner, Lampard, lambart and for that matter Baines going? These players aren't going to be at the next World Cup, probably not the euros. Baines is clearly first choice and shaw is hardley gonna play. If we somehow got to the final (or any important game) winning 1-0 with 30 minutes to go and Baines gets injured, who woul you want coming in? Cole would be perfect and has shown that he can come in after not playing loads and still be class. As for right backs I'd take one of clyne or chambers instead of smalling, either that or take cole shaw and Baines and if the unlikely happens and we need to change right back they can shuffle over. Squad looks decent going forward though, just at the back is very weak

Does anybody else find these 'selfies' embarrassing? People moan about players crying after defeats but I'd much rather that than these idiots holding their phone and doing a cringeworthy face into the lens when they win. The fact that all the media pick up on it as well, as if these players are so funny or different for doing it. How hard is it to get someone else to hold your phone.

I'm in favour of Luiz matic, think they could work well together, see how van ginkel plays for a different option as well. Player we don't need at all and not good enough to spend that sort of money on. Would rather spend the money on another striker, city have proved that having 3 top strikers can get you out of trouble even if two are out of from/injured. Plus after seeing his back turn against west ham I don't want that sort of personality anywhere near our team

Jose would say he is gonna stay, because at the moment that seems likely, if he gets a chance to sell hell do it, but what's the point in saying he wants him gone, if we can't get rid of him then things are only going to get worse...if that's possible.
