Man United v Chelsea (PL) 26/10/14 KO 16:00 GMT
United are improving week in week out and I reckon they'll get third place without really having a title challenge. Forgetting how the game panned out a draw away from home to third place is a good result and let's see how they do against city before we talk about missing an opportunity.

Diego Costa to Chelsea
Pretty sure that was just a dig at Spain, saying that's all the care about. Well see though

Only Hazard playing well, very poor first half for us

Not sure you understand what nowhere near means. Is fine to say they have different strengths but to have such a stupid margin makes you an idiot in my opinion. By your standards Ill say Ronaldo is the best player in the world..Messi is nowhere near.

And Cech is where? Cause to be no where near he has to be at least ten places lower in that caterogory. I'm not arguing that Courtious doesnt do it better. But to say Cech is 'nowhere near' anything that Courtious does is ridiculous

Can't see anyone agreeing but I'd have Hazard up top if we are planning on a 'false 9'. He has much more ability on the ball than schurrle, can go past defenders can hold up play better than anyone else in our team, he is used to be double up'd(?) on so 2 defenders shouldnt be an issue, we just don't have a target, but I don't think schurrle offers much more of a target anyway. Schurrle is still learning to be disciplined I feel and although hazard isn't perfect I think he is more capable to listen to Joses instructions and stay central where as when we've seen schurrle up top he drifts all the time. .Obvious back 5. ....Cesc...Matic.... ..........Oscar....... Willian....Schurrle .........Hazard......

Chelsea v Maribor (CL) 21/10/14 KO 19:45 BST
To be fair to him he's not got any other games he could go to and who could blame him for wanting to watch Chelsea cruising

Not really if Roma lose both against Munich and city win against CSKA at home they're a point ahead of Roma still. Plus even with their squad size going into Europa wouldn't be good for them

Man United v Chelsea (PL) 26/10/14 KO 16:00 GMT
I think we have enough without him, the game will be won or lost in our defence if we stop their attacking players we could go there without a striker and have more than enough to get all three points, their dfence is that bad. Remy has pace and I think that will be enough to cause problems. I think the tactics are more important than the players, if Jose shows them too much respect like he did last season it could be tight and we may only get a draw or lose if we're very unlucky. This could be the one game where we don't need to go away and be overly tight and be happy with a draw, I think city will beat them so that means we need to as well.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea (PL) 18/10/14 KO: 15:00 BST
Costa injury again, so frustrating, he will probably start and get a hat trick but hes been a doubt almost every game, I do worry that soon he won't be able to play though.

Thank You Mr Roman Abramovich
I don't think for any one year more than two of those will be serious contenders. Every season starts with 3,4,5,6,7 "contenders" but realistically it comes down to 3 max and in most cases 2. By the time Man U come back and become serious contenders again City could be going through transition as they have an old squad, Liverpool had a one season wonder and I don't see them challenging for a long while and Arsenal wont do anything under Wenger.

Wenger
I'd let him go for sure. Interesting comparission you make with united and I do feel that their situation has probably given Wenger a couple more years in his job. However I do see a massive difference with arsenal now and when ferguson left united. When ferguson retired their team was a shambles, got a title win with one of the worst squads ive known to do it, no one really gave a challenge and RVP was sensational, it was clear a new manager needed pretty much a whole new first team squad. As for wengers arsenal, they are in pretty good shape, they have good players all over the pitch apart from a few key areas and any other manager would have seen they needed a cm/cdm a world class striker and some extra defensive cover. They now seem to have the money to compete in the market but the only thing holding them back seems to be Wenger, if he went out and bought Falcao (loaned) and Khedhria they could be title contenders IMO. Finally I don't think there are any other managers that would get the arsenal job that would be so tactically inept against big teams, we see it year after year in the prem and in the CL, they come up against big teams and never look like winning. It's ok to play passing football if you have a team capable of getting results with it but sometimes Wenger needs to realise his team are second best, they are not Barcelona and tha a change of tactics doesn't represent a weakness it represents strength

MOTM vs Arsenal (H) (PL)
Could of been a lot of players after the performance. For me it's Oscar though, the last few games he's been really impressive, hes looking closer to his best and its all down to his own hard work

Hazard pen taking is brilliant and although he has an 100% record (I believe) I still feel like he will get caught out every time he steps up. I mean surely a goalkeeper will look at his previous and just go the opposite way he's looking.

There are lots of players that happen to be in great teams that win trophies, it doesnt mean that they themselves are particulary talented, what a pointless argument and I don't get the little dig you're making on a Chelsea forum

Chelsea vs Arsenal (PL) 05/10/14 KO: 14:05 BST
Can't get all snobby about this, it's still arsenal and I couldn't care less about how poor they've been in big matches in the past, I'd take a injury time penalty for a lucky 1-0. I think people are taking this game for granted. It's still a top four team, they have drew their big games so far (admittedly they have been at home) but they drew with city, they are still unbeaten and they will be right up for it this time.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa (PL) 27/09/14 KO: 15:00 BST
Nope, not live. I'm sure sky would but as I said the premier league as a company don't allow it. Best way to watch is through streaming American sites funnily enough.

Are actually fairly close so the atmosphere will be the same really, wouldn't describe it as rowdy though unfortunately. If it were me I'd take the CC as the EE seats might have the roof obstructing your view, might not be a problem as I've not been in those exact seats but i know CC is fine. Enjoy it.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa (PL) 27/09/14 KO: 15:00 BST
The thinking process is that while every team does get some tv coverage it's not every single week/game and if it was every game it would lower the capacity in the grounds, so the premier league banned 3pm coverage. I'm not sure it would work like that, I'd love every game televised.

MOTM vs Bolton (H) (LC)
Impressed by Ake and Zouma, but had to be Oscar, I think he had a point to prove. Whole team looked good enough for large parts, should of been a much bigger gap

They don't show 3 oclocks because they think it'll stop people going to the games.
