It has EVERYTHING to do with faith, faith in our manager and our players.. Yes Jose made a mistake tonight, he shouldn't have started Didier, but that doesn't mean to say that we should cast aside all faith in Jose and Drogba.. Maybe I'm an idiot but I still think that Drogba has a role to play in our season (however minor that role may be).

We simply had a bad day at the office. It happens.. I still believe that we're the best team in England.

Yes I agree, he shouldn't be starting games (perhaps in the Capital One Cup). But I still think he'll be effective as a substitute.

Disappointed to drop points, but I think too many people on here are been overly critical of our performance. I admit that Drogba doesn't look sharp enough to be starting games, but he's 36 years old for crying out loud. I still think he's got a big part to play in our season (I can seen him coming off the bench and nicking a 90th minute winner somewhere down the line). Yes we wasted too many chances tonight, chalk that down to bad luck (it ultimately effects everyone).. At the end of the day, we can't win every game, we had to lose our 100% start to the season at some point.. To sum up. Stop been so doom and gloom! This result will be but a distant memory come Sunday night, after we've tonked City in their own back yard. KTBFFH!

I think we must start Costa because he's in such fantastic form at the moment. Hopefully get the game wrapped up before 60 minutes so then we can bring on Remy for half an hour. I'd like to see Cech get a start as well Schurrle. I think we should rest Courtois and Willian (save them for the City game on Sunday). I'd keep the back four the way it is (perhaps bring Luis on at some point in the second half).. I'm predicting a 3-0 win for us.

I hate both Liverpool and United with a passion, therefore I hope Spurs or Everton somehow manage to sneak that 4th spot.

This is a must win game. Failure to get all 3 points here and are title challenge is dead..

I'm torn about this one.. I don't think a draw would suit us, or either of them.. Now logically I should want Liverpool to win, because that keeps us in with a chance of winning the title (if City win, it's all over).. But, if I had to choose who I'd rather win the title if we didn't, I'd choose City everyday.. So that presents an interesting quandary. If Liverpool beat City, and then we beat Liverpool, we'd stand a REALLY good chance of winning the league.. But the problem I have is, I don't think we have a chance in hell of beating Liverpool. Why? Because the game is sandwiched between both legs of the CL Semi-Final against Atletico. I just don't see us going to Anfield and winning that game.. So, what result are you hoping for.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but it seems to me that UEFA knew in advance that we'd be playing Atletico.. Oh well, at least we're at home for the 2nd leg..

Well it's crunch time and I'm bricking it.. Don't get me wrong, I think we have enough talent to score at least two goals, but I just don't see us keeping PSG at bay. That's why I'm predicting a 3-1 win for us. Which means we'll have to go through the total and utter agony of a penalty shootout (again).. Well that's my prediction. Keep the faith, and KTBFFH.

I think if we had a top class striker you'd see a big difference. We haven't being the same since Drogba started to lose his touch.. Even in his later years Drogba could still put in a world class performance now and again (who can forget the Champions League final against Munich), but the cracks started to show even before he left. As soon as Drogba left the club we should have brought a world class striker in, but we didn't.. And that's what's ultimately costing us now.

Happy Birthday Scott.. I'm feeling really nervous about today's game. I think this could go one or two ways. It could be a 0-0 or even a loss if we don't get an early goal.. BUT if we do get that crucial early goal, it will probably end up a rout.

Well I'm happy with the win and the performance. To be honest Gala were really poor tonight.. We never even needed to get out of second gear.

Well today was a total disaster. Socrates is right, Foy shouldn't be allowed to referee in our games ever again. Foy clearly has it in for us.. Ramires let the whole team down today with that horrendous stamp of his boot. But let's not get too distraught, there's still two months to go.. And remember City have a much harder run in than us. They still have to play away games at United, City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

I think Brazil are going to win. I can't see Spain winning again, they've had enough time in the spotlight. Don't rule out Belgium though, they're the dark horse of this competition, I can see Hazard having a great tournament.. As much as it pains me to admit this, we (England) don't stand a chance.

Madrid are the biggest threat to us, so I'm hoping we can avoid them for the moment. I'd rather we draw Atletico or Dortmund.. But we shouldn't really be counting our chickens, we haven't got through yet.
