I'm torn about this one.. I don't think a draw would suit us, or either of them.. Now logically I should want Liverpool to win, because that keeps us in with a chance of winning the title (if City win, it's all over).. But, if I had to choose who I'd rather win the title if we didn't, I'd choose City everyday.. So that presents an interesting quandary. If Liverpool beat City, and then we beat Liverpool, we'd stand a REALLY good chance of winning the league.. But the problem I have is, I don't think we have a chance in hell of beating Liverpool. Why? Because the game is sandwiched between both legs of the CL Semi-Final against Atletico. I just don't see us going to Anfield and winning that game..

So, what result are you hoping for.

Can the season go backwards? If we win the title then I don't mind but if Liverpool end up winning it then it's COME ON CITY!!!!!

Suarez bites Augero. Suarex gets sent off. Augero taken off on a stretcher with rampant rabies. Joe Hart comes out, misses the ball, collides with DeMicheles. Hart goes off injured. DeMicheles is fine. Sturridge dives and wins a penalty which Gerrard blazes over. Stoppage time it all boils over as Gerrard goes flying into a challenge with Toure, injuring both parties, at which point Sturridge does a little dance and gets pelted with Celery, Brendan Rodgers looks to the 96 in the sky for help and sprains his neck and Craig Burley, wherever he is, stubs his toe.

Oh and the game finishes in a draw.

Sounds like quite a game to watch. Pure entertainment. :laugh2:

A Liverpool win and a win against Swansea tomorrow and we're right back in the title race. A draw would be OK too I suppose.

Win at Anfield and our 3 remaining games and we're another City loss away from winning the damn thing

If City win it, it's all over.

We'll have to put up with increasing Liverpool bias but it's all for the greater good when we smash them at Anfield and bring their title hopes to a crushing end.

Think it'll be a draw or Manc win. Even if kompany is out think Silva is vital to them. Keep him quiet and then you never know.

I hope we win (obviously) if only to ramp up the tension for some of the drama queens on here.

Have to hope for Liverpool to win for Chelsea to grab the title. At the same time, that would make them feel pretty much invincible, and they'd be in perfect shape for the rest of their games.

A City win means it's pretty much over. The title is theirs.

Suarez & Sturridge both receive red cards for simulation; Gerrard to miss a penalty; Rodgers sent to the stands; liverpool give away a penalty; toure scores from the penalty; man city win the match.

I am torn between wanting a city win or draw, but i know that a city win means less chance of liverpool getting their grubby hands on that cup.

As long as liverpool get some misfortune tomorrow, i'll be happy. Their fortune has got to run out sooner or later.

I am fed up of reading this sort of tripe on every comments page on news article sites and forums.

I want a brutal draw where key players from both sides get sidelined with minor strains that keep em out a few weeks (I'm not a sadist), resulting in both teams fielding weak teams for the remainder of the season, dropping points left and right.

Anything other than a Liverpool win. Win this game and they will win the title in my opinion. We may win at Anfield, but cannot see us getting maximum points from the other games.

I'm hoping

0-0 with a few long term injuries to both teams.

OOooh ya bugger! I was honestly just in the process of posting the same message, have you hacked my pc?

7-0 City win thanks, 6 of them jammy penalties and the 7th a Gerrard own goal when he tries one of his trademark over-complicated look at me long passes and the wind takes it and puts it into the back of his own net.
