Foggy reacted to MoJames in Random RumoursPogba/Vidal or Fabregas?
-
Foggy got a reaction from Theafonis in Cesc FabregasActually Fernando, there's no need for Fabregas to get to the next level. That would be easily achievable if you just moved along. Fabregas could take us a step further after that hough.
-
Foggy got a reaction from CFCBlue12 in Cesc FabregasWell, I suppose you can never really be sure with Mourinho and his slippery ways, but the more I think about it, the more I think Fabregas at 26m would be the ideal buy and an absolute steal.

Foggy got a reaction from Celery1989 in Cesc FabregasHas Arsenal pollution but very impressive stats and still only 27 (turned 27 earlier this month.) For a player who's not about pace, he could give 5 years for the club.
From 2007-8 season + (App-Gls-Ass)...
Arsenal:
44-13-24
44-4-19
41-23-19
33-10-16
Barca:
39-17-11
50-17-16
52-15-17
Not to be sniffed at.
In footballing terms, he's more or less what we've been looking for. Ticks pretty much all the boxes.
+ passing range, creativity
+ Goal scoring ability
+ Experienced yet young
+ No adaptation worries
+ Combative, nasty streak and a winner
- Arsenal stained
- Matic and Fabregas not the paciest.
Also, my hatred for Fabregas lessened with his Arsenal departure and also upon his commenting that it was great to see Essien back and smiling after his big injury and what a fantastic player the bison was.

Foggy got a reaction from RMCM in Cesc FabregasI suppose whichever way you look at it, it's bound to be... pogbamatic.(I know, that was hilarious.)

Foggy got a reaction from just in Torres - The "Groundhog Day" ThreadBlue Bosnian, Hahaha, that's funny mate, it is, but I could say I'm still recovering from the shock of managing those two successes in spite of carrying such a hefty dead weight.
And it is a little dramatic, but this is all speaking relative to football and Chelsea in particular.
His featuring in the team is overwhelmingly to the detriment of the side when you consider what could and should be. So I'd say it's fair comment that he harms the team more than the opposition in that sense.
Ballack and Blue, it's more the Torres Fetishists than Torres himself. I urge him on and hope he has a good performance if he plays. Exasperation of his consistent ineptitude has turned to something resembling hate of him, but only as a Chelsea player. That's not to say I hate the guy personally. If he leaves and does well somewhere else, good for him. He's not been enjoying his football for a while, let him enjoy his football somewhere else. But he continues to hold Chelsea back, so my negative feelings towards him as a player continue likewise.
But as I say, it's the spinning things in favour of Torres which some people still persist with after everything that has been done to accommodate him.
Anyway, I know all this isn't nice and my comments will annoy people even as it annoys me having to write them, but it is infuriating to see comments still hinting that he is somehow any good or has done well.
I'd rather not comment on Torres, but the next time a few more comments lauding Torres in a roundabout way appear, I will probably feel compelled to write something...

Foggy got a reaction from just in Torres - The "Groundhog Day" ThreadHe has been the single most important factor in handicapping Chelsea since he has been here. I am not trying to paint a picture of a guy deliberately trying to harm the club or defecating on Chelsea. There isn't a single player I want to perform poorly for the club when he's playing, but he doesn't deserve anywhere near the type of defence and good feeling he gets for being , frankly, an embarrasment of a footballer.
I will continue to get annoyed/angry at people still trying to spin things for Torres.
I want to see him angling for a move, take a paycut, whatever, he has to go and spare the club of his utter impotence on the field whilst bagging such a huge salary and simultaneously feeling he has been harshly treated by fans (his interviews).

Foggy got a reaction from darrus in Torres - The "Groundhog Day" ThreadBa would have gotten double the amount of goals Torres has, probably more, had he been given the same amount of playing time.

Foggy got a reaction from jack_super_class in Random RumoursKhedira? I'd rather spend the money on Isco. If you double mark Hazard, he'll just pass the ball to another 'Hazard.'
-
Foggy got a reaction from jack_super_class in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendMata had a knack of digging the team out of trouble. He scored goals at important moments. His set peice delivery and creativity was a lot better than what we currently have. He was on the same wavelength as Hazard. He was universally a fan favourite.
He shouldn't have been sold, whatever this ridiculous 'philosophy'.
But no point in talking Mata anymore.
What's done is done.

Foggy got a reaction from darrus in Torres - The "Groundhog Day" ThreadMight as well be Costa and Lukaku.
My feelings towards Torres at this point are summarized as follows:
SHOOT THE GUY AND BE DONE WITH IT
(Yes, I don't actually mean it, but yes, if in some way this would actually cause no physical pain or death, but at the same, pain and death in some figurative sense, Oh, I don't know.)

Foggy got a reaction from mactheknife in Victor MosesHe got into double figures in goals and was the best Chelsea winger for a period leading upto the Afcon.
It was a good first season. A little harshly dealt with.

Foggy got a reaction from Scott Harris in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendHonestly, sometimes I watch him (in his bad moments) and think... have Chelsea bought a Brazilian Shaun Wright-Phillips?

Next season, Actual fullbacks in their actual places please.
-
Foggy got a reaction from Scott Harris in Torres - The "Groundhog Day" ThreadI missed that. Not many defenders I'd like to see get kicked, but Skrtl is definitely one of them
