Man City Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 3/12 2016 KO 12:30 GMT
Fantastic result today. After De Bruyne's horror miss everything changed. Diego was magnificent. He took hold of the game by the scruff of the neck and rallied us to victory. Our next 5 matches. West Brom (Home). Sunderland (Away). Crystal Palace (Away). Bournemouth (Home). Stoke City (Home). If we play our cards right we could honestly make it 13 wins in a row (which would put us only 1 behind Arsenal's record of 14 consecutive wins)... Onwards and upwards guys.

Is that all? I'd walk a hundred miles for that much money, lol.

I think deep down Jose's a good man. He's just...delightfully complicated. Besides, who are we to judge, really, one way or the other? "Never judge a man until you've walked a mile in his moccasins".

He's a proven winner, and that's all there is to it, in my opinion. True, Jose's a short term fix, but he does guarantee trophies. He will (unfortunately) bring United success.

I think that's a little misleading. Let's be honest, good luck played a huge part in our Champions League triumph, it had little to do with RDM. Of course, this luck was more than deserved, as many times when we (in my opinion) did deserve to win the CL we were undone by bad luck. Nevertheless, we were far from the best club in England when we conquered Europe.

I'm not saying that at all. Don't you understand? The fact that Claudio (the nearly man) Ranieri won the Premier League with Leicester shows just how crazy the Premier League is now. I just cannot imagine one single team going on to dominate over here for the next few years... Of course, I'm not trying to indicate that Pep will be a disaster at City (he may even win a League title). But he won't outright dominate like he did in Spain and Germany.
-
Jose Mourinho thread
I'm sorry, but anyone here who thinks that Pep will dominate domestically for the next few years must have absolutely no knowledge about English football whatsoever. Being successful in Spain and Germany is all well and good...but the Premier League is where a manager really has to prove himself. Things are different over here. Very, very different. Leicester City winning the League last year proves my point... Anything can happen in the Premier League.

You say that as though it's a bad thing. I mean, come on, we also hate Wenger, Pep, the FA, refs, and ruddy Liverpool!

Yes...I can read between the lines.

I believe that he does love us... But, unfortunately, we can't expect to be loved more than his family, and his family (according to reports) want to stay in England.

Maybe I'm just a sentimental fool, but in my opinion, yes... He always will be to me, whatever the future holds.

Who will win Euro 2016?
If only Carlsberg were sponsors of the tournament, eh?

Who will win Euro 2016?
England (yes, I'm being deadly serious).

Yeah, I still miss him. I realise that in the end he had to go, but I still wish things could have worked out differently.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Apparently, Guus isn't really going anywhere. He said after the match today that he'll be back to help out with the academy.

What do we make of Jose sacking and Guus taking over?
"Tarnished what he achieved before". I think his legacy would only have been tarnished if we had failed to win the league on his return.
-
What do we make of Jose sacking and Guus taking over?
You say that like Jose's return was a total and utter disaster. Are you forgetting the fact that we won the league at a canter last year?
-
What do we make of Jose sacking and Guus taking over?
I'll keep it simple. Guus has done okay, but I wish Jose was still here.

Leicester have MADE History
Yep. My grandfather supports both Arsenal and Liverpool. Can't understand it myself. Personally, I think you should only 'support' one team. I'm not saying that it's wrong to have a soft spot for other teams, but you should only actually support one.

Chelsea Vs Tottenham (PL) 02/05/2016 KO 20:00 GMT
Well, we did it. So proud of the boys tonight. 2-0 down at half time we looked dead and buried. We fought back in that second half and easily deserved the draw. For me, Hazard's goal is my moment of the season. Pure goosebumps when it went curling into the net... Yes, we may not have won anything ourselves this year, but we've played our part in completing the fairy tale. And most importantly of all...we didn't let down our old friend Claudio. In a strange kind of way, tonight almost makes up for all the bad that's happened this season. For once...we're the good guys... Let's just hope we can build on this moment and kick on from here.

We will decide who wins the Premier League.
If Spuds end up beating us and then Leicester end up losing/drawing with Everton...I think we have to let Leicester win the league against us. We just can't hand the title over to Spuds, we just can't, guys.

Chelsea Vs Tottenham (PL) 02/05/2016 KO 20:00 GMT
Really want us to win this one. I actually hope that Leicester only draw with United on Sunday to give us the chance to kill off Tottenham's hopes once and for all.
-
We will decide who wins the Premier League.
Well, Tony Pulis has done it again! Spurs 1-1 WBA. If Leicester fail to beat United next week then we'll have the chance to finish off Spud's title chances once and for all.

We will decide who wins the Premier League.
Hazard on MOTD reiterating Fabregas's comments regarding the title race. They've both made it clear now that they want Spurs to miss out on the title. Hazard really pushed it home, saying that Chelsea and the fans (us guys) don't want Spurs to win anything. He finished off by saying that Leicester deserve to win the League and he hopes they do it. In the studio the presenter mentioned that Chelsea play Leicester in the final game of the season, and wonders if Hazard should be saying things like that. So, basically, this sums it all up for me. If it comes down to it...we'll throw the match against Leicester. Any thoughts on this? Should our players be backing Leicester publicly?
