Chelsea v PSG - (CL QF 2nd Leg) 08/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
I'm trying to be optimistic here! I think we can go through if Willian is played the same position as he was Saturday and plays as well as he did. With Schürrle on the other wing that would be perfect. Not sure about Rambo though. I want Ba to start this time aswell. What is nthe point in starting a misfiring Torres who effectively nullifies a position when we have another striking option who his well rested? Hope the fans really get behind the lads too. I want to see the crowd roar every time we get the ball and a chorus of boos every time PSG get a touch. The crowd will be very important in this one. If I was there, I wouldnt sit down. I'd be up on both feet waking up with a lost voice in the morning. Let's send them packing and give Cavani and Lavezzi a reminder of the power that is Stamford Bridge. I'm well up for this one.

PSG v Chelsea - (CL QF) 02/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
I say cut Torres from this fixture entirely. Don't even have him on the bench. He'll just go AWOL again. Give Ba a go. Sick of the sight of Torres skulking about with his sulking face on. His face every time we scored against Stoke said it all. Not a team player. Only interested in relieving the pressure off his own shoulders, and in doing so, he's just piling it on even more through mistakes that are worsened through selfish play. He almost seemed bitter and resentful when Willian struck that wonderful goal. No congrats or celebration either! Just sulking. If he couldn't even take on the Stoke City defence in a 2 on 2 situation like in the second half of that game, he's going to struggle severely against that PSG defence. I was kinda hoping that with the fractured cheekbone, Thiago Silva would have been sidelined. To play with such a brutal injury like that and not have your performance hampered, that's one tough S.O.B.

PSG v Chelsea - (CL QF) 02/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
I do not condone this kind of behaviour at home, let alone in another country where we're supposed to be showing respect and showing an example! To me they are not even Chelsea fans, just mindless thugs who think they're superman after a few pints. I hope the French authorities arrested them and are facing the fullest extent of the French judicial system. Its the locals I feel sorry for.

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) 05/04/14 KO 17:30 GMT
I know right? Sickening isn't it. I'm going to start calling them the unstandables. Because they spend more time face down on the grass then they do on their pins. I know they want to win the league in honour of the Hillsborough 96 25th anniversary, but diving isn't the way to do it. If anything it taints it.I would rather lose fairly than win controversially.

_______ is going to PSG in the summer
I don't know about selling Oscar. He has had some really poor performances this season, but when he does play well, he's other worldly. Plus he's young and has a lot of time to grow. I would hate to see him go.

This Tuesday the bridge needs to rock
Lets make the Bridge our ultimate weapon. Come on Blues!!!

Against the odds, us winning the CL HD
That is an outstanding effort there! Has a very epic feel to it. Was nice to watch and revisit some of those real nerve wracking moments. Hope to see that PSG away leg as one of those low points in another glorious video depicting another CL win in a few months. It is not over for this season by a long shot.

Forever Blue - New Kit Reveal 04/04/2014
Can't even see that as a possibility, so not worth talking about. The kit is fantastic and I'm certainly going to be buying it. Even if it does happen, there are no other alternates I would deem acceptable. Nike is boring and generic, and the others produce absolutely awful looking kits. You seen Spurs' away top for next season? Be thankful we are not with Under Armour. Look at this hideous crap:http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CknKfYzKB1U/UzFqIyUD9-I/AAAAAAAAWqk/Rkd2kgvXtd4/s600/Tottenham+2014-15+Away+Kit.jpg I have a feeling it is genuine. It was a leaked mock up from a website that has been right with the last few kits of ours. Although, it'll be ever so slightly different in a couple of small details. The return of a proper collar is something I've been waiting on for a while. That yellow kit looks gorgeous.

Official: David Luiz to PSG
After Willians performance against bus parking Stoke, I think we do have a decent number 10 option. Switching him to the middle was an unexpected touch of class. I say give him more chances to play in the centre once we have the PSG game out the way.

Diego Costa to Chelsea
Oh there have been some right gems posted on here today, haha. Great post.

Eden
Yep. Wasn't all that long ago that Eden said he is not going anywhere. PSG rumours are frequent anyway because of Canal+ being nothing more than a rumour mill, but these rumours have intensified in response to us drawing them as opponents in the champions league. Nothing new there. If we were to believe every rumour concerning Chelsea and PSG, we'd literally just do a full team swap at the end of the season. Read this, this was posted back in February. Hazard is not going to PSG: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/459342/Chelsea-star-Eden-Hazard-rules-out-PSG-move

_______ is going to PSG in the summer
David Luiz I can live with but not the other two. Besides, I think their owners will eventually shoot themselves in the foot. I have read that they tap players illegally without the knowledge or consent of their parent club. If that's the case, they deserve to be hit with some transfer sanctions and if they are doing this, it will catch up to them eventually and they will sell up.

Liverpool and penalties
Very true. But what do you expect? You can't jump into raw sewage without getting covered in it can you? That's what has happened to Sturridge. Joined a team with a victim mentality (both on and off the pitch) and a team who plays filthy tactics. It was bound to rub off on him. Their manager encourages it too.

Liverpool and penalties
Oh my god, I am laughing so hard at this. Well said.

Liverpool and penalties
Maybe the FA conspiracy thing was over the top. (Was raging at the time). But it doesn't change the fact that even a gust of wind would take Sturridge or Suarez down in the box if they feel it would get them a spot kick. Just want players to stop simulating, playing to the ref and actually get on with scoring legit goals. Makes the highlights more enjoyable than seeing somebody swan dive in the box and see that prick Gerrard tap one in from the spot.
-
Liverpool and penalties
I haven't seen it yet. So I'll reserve judgement but a mate of mine saw it and said neither of the Liverpool penalties were genuine. Typical. I think the FA (if it is interested in fair play) should review all refs this season and sack the useless ones. Today's West Ham/scum ref should go by the sounds of it and Chris Foy should definitely go. Incidentally, did anyone else notice Chris Foy screw over Southampton yesterday? The Premiership table should reflect the best performances, not which teams had the best divers and most cooperative ref on the day week in week out.

Who are your favourite and least favourite players?
Favourite players: Azpilicueta, Cahill, Hazard, Oscar, Matic, Salah, Terry, Lukaku, Götze, Robben, Lewandowski, Benzema and Drogba Least favourite players: Gerrard, Suarez, Sturridge (the dive and spot kick connection as I call them), Charlie Adam (brainless thug), Felipe Melo (pure filth) and Torres (the 50m flop).

Liverpool and penalties
Agreed. They are scum. Sturridge ... I have lost all respect for the bloke with his behaviour in the penalty area this season. As for Suarez... there are no words... If they do win the league, it'll be tainted and it would encourage other teams to dive. Hazard is the most fouled player in the Premiership. We should have had more penalties than Liverpool but because its us, we get nowt from most refs. Was happy with Liverpool drawing West Ham. Was hoping they'd sly one past the scum at the end, but now I'm fed up.
-
Liverpool and penalties
How is it that Liverpool always get them? They got three the other week and today they have got two. I am now convinced that the FA want Liverpool to win this season. No other explanation for it. They have had an abnormal number of penalties this season.

Barcelona 14 month transfer ban
Pretty much the entire debacle condensed into a single sentence. Bravo. Its going to be exactly the same when Man City and Man Utd are questioned over FFP. The toys are going to come out of the pram and the big red and sky blue finger of blame will be pointed at us, even though we didn't break the rules. So many clubs breaking rules and I just hope they come unstuck and get hit where it hurts. Seeing Barca being hit is just the tip of the iceberg. I just hope the ban is enforced indefinitely for the entire period of time stated with zero windows before it begins for them to "stock up".

And Leicester
Haven't QPR just penned a new kit deal with Nike? I always thought those deals were quite lucrative.

Diego Costa to Chelsea
Yep, apparently they've gone up to 40 mil too. This bothers me. One thing I'm thinking here is that I hope we aren't about to pull another Rooney! Putting all our eggs into one basket, dropping it at the last second and spending another season deadlocked in a striker limbo.

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) 05/04/14 KO 17:30 GMT
Haha I thought the same thing as it happened. But he was taking his sweet time and Eden just wanted to get on with it. Not that we're really missing out on much with his free kick. He's sent more free kicks hurtling over the bar than I care to remember.

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) 05/04/14 KO 17:30 GMT
I'll agree there. Its something I have been saying for a while now. Every time the camera focused in on him, he was just there, shoulders slumped, skulking around the pitch with the facial expression of a sulkIng child. Just my observation. It's not just today either. Though there were occasional moments where he woke up, such as the time he came flying in the area and pelted the ball in the keepers face. But then he'd just go back to the way he was before. Put it this way, if a player makes a consistent effort throughout the game, you don't tend to notice these sudden bursts like you do with Torres. Another thing that strikes me as odd, is how he doesn't celebrate with team mates when they score. If he did, I didn't see him. He seemingly doesn't thank or give thumbs up to team mates who give him good passes. He strikes me as a lone wolf out there. Yeah, it would have been deserved after that studs out boot to his chest! Then I read his lips as he said "F**k off you c**t" when he objected to it. Charming bloke. Love the positivity there. Was a great performance. We absolutely dominated that first half. Virtually the entire half took place in their back third of the pitch, with occasional balls spilling into the centre third briefly before being sent straight back to their end. With the exception of Torres, the work rate was exceptional today. I'm confident of beating PSG if we play like that. Maybe play Willian in the centre for that tie. Such a shame that Matic and Salah are cup tied.
