Without using that horrible media led scouse drivel about Anfield and its special european nights and its atmophere' the bridge as well as the players will have to be on top form this coming Tuesday. I know that third goal (joke) has made it much harder but with the noise cranked up! I just have a feeling PSG are liable to bottle it!! It can't be a night when we wait for the team to perform before we get going' its up to us fans to get things started.

We all know when we have these nights you can feel the atmosphere in the air outside the bridge  and round the pubs before the game.

The night games that spring to mind for me over the years where it was electric were some of the barca games, Liverpool champions league games, going back further Bruges in the cup winners cup in 1995 and the mother of all Sunderland milk cup 1985!!!

So basically if your going on Tuesday be prepared not to sit on your hands in fact don't sit!

The bridge will have to be hostile and noisy, let everyone on ITV hear us and remember those smarmy PSG faces last Wednesday as they walked off the pitch they think their already through.

O'dear are they in for a nasty surprise!!!!!!! carefree

Totally agree. If you noticed the PSG crowd in the last leg, they were fantastic. Every time their team got the ball, they cheered like a goal was about to be scored. Even me, sat in front of the telly with a brew, I was nervous every time their crowd began roaring. Created a victorious atmosphere and I think that worked against our players.

We need to give them a taste of their own medicine and get behind the lads. Make them feel like their fans are behind them and make them confident. The home atmosphere is supposed to be an advantage, not a luke warm flat atmosphere until we start scoring. Let's smash their concentration and send them packing.

We will. I can see it being another night like the famous Napoli  game. One of my most memorable nights at the Bridge.

I think the crowd at the Stoke game were fantastic, best vocal support from the home crowd for a game not against another big side i've heard in ages.

I think the PSG atmosphere will be electric provided we start on the front foot, if we score the first goal sh*t will hit the fan an d hopefully we can spur them on.

today's the day! Lets be having you then Chels! #KTBFFH

My ideal line up would be: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Dave; Mikel, Luiz; Schurrle/Salah, Willian, Hazard; Eto'o

Would it not be great to somehow organise a bloody tifo at the bridge for games like this? I know we have the flags and that but its special with a tifo where everyones involved.

Just not sure who is responsible to get stuff like that sorted out.

You could probably get a round of organised applause out of the East Stand...

our so-called legend marcel desailly (not in my eyes, but some Chelsea fans have that opinion), says psg have nothing to worry about going to Stamford bridge...dismissed it as small and that there is a better atmosphere at old Trafford (since when?)...he also hopes psg win the champions league this season...hope we prove him wrong tonight

He is right about the atmosphere, it's borderline pathetic an awful lot and for us to make PSG truly uncomfortable we need to make noise like the Germans or Turks do.

The fans will be loud tonight at the start, but if PSG score first it will be like a library.

Got a feeling the atmosphere will be pretty special tonight, these games only come round once a year (if that) and it alreday has a buzz about it.

If we score first, the roof will come off and judging by how PSG reacted when they conceded at home I would love to see how they handle it in a far more intense pressure situation, away from home, with 40K Chels making the noise.

Bring it on, up the Chels!

yes the bridge lacks atmosphere in many games, still disappointing to read an ex-player be so disrespectful though, particularly as utd have been worse for years and have nearly double the capacity...

by the way a headline in today's l'equipe reads 'bring it on little English club'.

I really hope we turn this around...everything about psg, sniffing about our players, canal + stitching up jose and hazard to cause trouble, lack of respect, makes we want to see Chelsea wipe the floor with them and put them back in their place...hope thousands will join me tonight in making an atmosphere loud enough to help

Breaks my heart to see such a respected former player talk nonsense about the club like that. We were nothing but good to him when he was here.

Still, more fuel for the fire, and I hope we crank it fully tonight. If only I could join you Brit, but due to financial pressures of my own, I couldn't afford a ticket, even though I was offered one by a group of mates that are going tonight.

I will be having a few tinnies tonight to settle the nerves a bit. "Bring it on little English club" let those words sink in and turn it into determination.

Nice to read.  I'm feeling like sh*t with a cold that's been hanging around for nearly a month but I can't wait to get there.
