Salah is ineligible. He was purchased in the January window and is cup tied. I would love to see him play, but UEFA rules....

Fifa 14
Dont get me wrong though, despite my many criticisms of the game, I do play it more than everything else. There are just so many changes that I would like to see in the next game. A return to the previous transfer market style would be much welcomed. They also NEED to reintroduce an awesome feature that was in FIFA 96.... Editing kits. Makes a new season feel brand new. Being able to choose from a selection of kit templates, changing colours, badge, brand and sponsor positions would make pre seasons more refreshing. I understand there may be possible licensing issues with this, but being able to select from a series of sponsors and kit manufacturers for your club, based on how well you're doing would be cool too. Each could have different investment options too (again, based o performance), which could affect your transfer funds at the start of each season. For instance, if you win silverware, they invest in the club more. Ahhh EA should hire me for ideas, haha, so many things could turn this game into an epic experience.

Fifa 14
I couldn't agree more. It makes transfer windows looooooong. Hiding OVR stats, approx transfer values etc was a huge mistake. Takes too long to identify targets, send scouts, get reports and strike deals. By the time you've got players in your sights, the transfer window is nearly closed. Too many times, I have been denied at the last second by a player who wants to stay at their club with no further time to bid for an alternative or bought the player to find their OVR is crap. The inbox just gets cluttered with so many reports, press stuff and junk that it becomes unnecessarily awkward keeping on top of things. The scouts come back with garbage most of the time and you would think they would give you actual information if they've been watching players long enough to identify them as a target in the first place. So sending them back out to scout them for two weeks to get their stats (minus the OVR score) is just redundant. So you don't really know what you're buying half the time. Then its aggro sorting out fees and player agreements. What used to be a quick and simple process of elimination, has now become long winded and tedious. Also players retire way too early. I had Gareth Bale retire at 29. Also yourself as a manager retires at around 32 aswell. They really rushed the career mode this year. Its the only part of the game I play. I do enjoy it, but have to take regular breaks to stop the tedium setting in.

Mario Mandzukic
Exactly. His accelaration is easily on par with Salah and Willian. We need that kind of speed in a forward. We need someone who can create chances too. I've seen him create some very nice goals for Bayern.

man forced to watch concert through his own eyes
Yep. That's the biggest annoyance. People are more interested in social media use than actually experiencing the moment and enjoying it as it is intended. There are professional camera men and women who make good videos of live shows if they want to relive those live vibes. Better than your camera phone footage that sounds like somebody sat on the receiver farting.

Last Movie You Watched
Had to watch the new Hobbit film to restore my manhood today after having to endure hours of sodding chick flicks with a lady friend of mine yesterday. Those Bridget Jones Diary films...Urgh. To make it worse, her brother had to mention it on Facebook... Yep, lots of stick.

Fifa 14
Yeah, it really works. I do a lot of experimenting with players and Schweiny is a ledge on my wing. Damn scripting on FIFA struck again last night and lost Willian as he refused a contract (despite meeting his demands) so having to look through the transfer market again :-/ got 200 mil stashed so getting a quality replacement is not going to be a problem. I actually have a second career managing Middlesbrough where I am using the youth team. Only started that one a week or so ago, so its sloooooooow going getting funds for decent scouts. Not even worth hiring anything less than 5 star as they're awful. Made the mistake of using the default scouts in my first career mode. I hate the masking of the OVR stats, even though it is more realistic. Bought two strikers in my first managerial season and they had literally no stamina, so after one match, their energy was in the red and took about ten games to get to yellow (despite there being no injury). Awful signings. Struggled that season, even with squad rotation.

New England World Cup kit
Didn't like those ones either to be honest. Especially the away shirt. Looks like an overpriced polo shirt. I got a bargain instead online. The 2007 home shirt for 12 quid including P&P (brand new with tags). Proper result. Now have something to wear whilst watching the world cup.

Diego Costa to Chelsea
If you look at Torres' best matches, they have been in Europe. Plus, I just think he is completely miserable here and is no longer trying. Its clear that he is no longer all that psyched to be playing in blue. The constant sulk face on Saturday against Stoke just reeked of a player who is not happy where he is. Maybe a move back home will have a return to form? Completely different game out there. Wouldn't be the first time new surroundings helped a players career. But most of all, its just wishful thinking on my part. Nobody here can honestly say they wouldn't be satisfied with such a trade off. Would save us money to grab ourselves another striker, a new creative midfielder and full back if we get shot of David Luiz to PSG.

Mario Mandzukic
Good point. But to be honest, he'd be more likely to get more time on the pitch at Stamford Bridge than at Bayern. The bits that I have read indicates that he is concerned about a massive lack of football next season. The fact that his agent is putting out the feelers indicates that he wants out.

Mata Post-Sale Thread
Yeah, I felt really torn watching that. I mean, I have no ill feeling towards the guy. It was a career decision and I get it. Good to see that smile back on his face, but I resent the fact that its in Manure red.

Who are your favourite and least favourite players?
Yeah, Zlatan leaves a lot to be desired in the personality department. Read about how he basically blanked one of his best friends when he hit the big time. Not cool at all.

And Leicester
I would congratulate Leicester for promotion. The foxes have had a great season this year. Fair play to them. Been watching the Football League review every week and their segments have been fairly entertaining.

Who are your favourite and least favourite players?
Actually amazed that I forgot to add Rooney and the Ferdinand's to my dislike list. I have actually always been rather neutral with Southampton and Everton aswell. Never had any negative points and have always played fair football. They're good honest clubs. Some very good players in both teams this season aswell. I would also love to see Everton make Europe next season. Don't know why, but it could be interesting to see how they fare.

Liverpool and penalties
I would love nothing more than to see Suarez leave the Premier League. It'll be interesting to see how their penalty stats change when Gerrard retires and Suarez leaves. In response to the poster above, I don't hate Liverpool fans, I loathe and despise them. Always first to point out peno decisions from other teams yet their players are the worst of the worst. I hate the club too, always have done. I think it goes back to the 5 - 1 pounding they gave us back in 96 and the stick it got me for weeks after. As for the West Brom penalty, I think people are reading too much into what rival supporters are saying. He was running top speed and got knocked. I don't believe he dived, not for one minute.

Mario Mandzukic
I never said having him as our main striker. He would be a good secondary to Costa. At 20 mil, I think the price is right. Let's face it, we need multiple options next season. Can't just throw our eggs into one basket and rely on one forward. Look at how Eto'os injury has rocked us this season.
-
Bony - goals ratio and at 25 improving ...
Bony would be a very underwhelming signing for me. He has good qualities, but not enough to warrant a bid from Chelsea. I see him as a mid card striker. I'd sooner see Costa/Lukaku/Eto'o or Costa/Lukaku/Mandzukic as our options next season.

Diego Costa to Chelsea
I've heard reports that Torres wants to go to Atletico. Possible straight swap with a bit of cash from us to sweeten it? Maybe I'm just hoping too much, but that would be a win win situation for sure.

_______ is going to PSG in the summer
Also seems that Liverpool are determined to get revenge forSalah and Willian at the moment. Virtually every player we're looking at, they're trying to toss their hat in. Either that or their scouts are utterly inept and just follow Chelsea's interests.
-
_______ is going to PSG in the summer
True, but Draxler is being pulled six ways from Sunday. Its like pigeons swarming over a lump of bread trying to get his signature at the moment.
-
Cech or Courtois?
We can't keep both realistically. But despite all that Cech has done for us, we have to be looking towards the future. I'd choose Courtois as he has performed better this season in terms of most clean sheets and has been tested against the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale on several occasions.

Chelsea v PSG - (CL QF 2nd Leg) 08/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
I heard Schürrle (after the actions of that filthy blow hole Charlie Adam) is recovering well. So I think he'll be alright.

_______ is going to PSG in the summer
Couldn't agree more. Nobody likes a show off or someone who brags. I personally hope the PSG owners (aswell as Monaco) get caught out for some underhanded s**t like Barca did. That would be something to behold. A couple transfer windows without those two sets of a***holes being linked with every single player in the world. So much BS comes from those two clubs. I would be absolutely fuming if we sent them Hazard or Oscar. Basically, PSG just wants to be Chelsea.
