Huge thanks for the replies guys, I'm thinking due to traffic, stress, potential congestion charges etc etc I would prefer to park further our and tube it some of the way... The three options that Bovis mentioned in particular all sound great, cheers - our next game is Wigan next week so will try one option then, and we're not going to another game until Newcastle so will go for whatever is a safe bet, coming with someone who's never been to a game before and we'd be rushing to The Bridge after work - don't want to risk missing any of it :) Thanks again

I thought Chelsea were superb last night, incredibly professional performance and it was f**king great to see Paulo back and doing a great job, Luiz put in a near perfect performance too. Regarding the hand ball... hm, I kinda thought it was a penalty. Yes it was ball to hand, but what was his hand doing there in the first place? Saying that, I wouldn't have felt too aggrieved if we weren't given one like that.

Agree 100% with dkw, and voted Paulo for the very same reasons - thought he was immense last night, very solid and gave his all. Saying that, it did feel strange voting for Paulo - "I think Luiz was the best player on the pitch, but voted Ferreira as MOTM"? Ah. Well. Under the circumstances Paulo deserves it! Wouldn't be surprised to see him playing against Villa if he's fit, and Bran isn't.

Well, I'd take that over the result we got against them at home! You raise some good points but I think we'll be okay, like you said we've rested some players and I expect us to line up fairly similarly to what gibbo said above, hopefully with a similar result! Lampard, Essien, Malouda, Cahill and Drogba I think will almost certainly start I wonder what happened to Romeu...?

Whilst I admire some people's optimism, Arsenal are on a frighteningly good streak at the moment which we would need to at least match. Spurs are spluttering but have probably the easiest run in of any team in the league. Even if we win our remaining matches, there's no guarantee we would finish top 4... Bizarrely though, I have a strange feeling that we could win the Champions League this season, which if we did finish 5th would then carry the extra bonus that either Arsenal or Spurs would have to drop out to make way for us next season :D

Hi guys, I usually park at Hillingdon, but wasn't sure if there's anywhere closer that's on a tube route and is reasonably priced? I'm looking now and Hammersmith for example is just 11 minutes from Fulham Broadway, but it'd cost me £18 to park there which is pretty steep. Would really appreciate any suggestions on where to park, coming from Oxford direction for home matches, preferably cheap and also within a close distance to Fulham Broadway. Thank you!

I think from what we've seen so far the answer is a resounding yes, Drogba in particular put in absolutely monstrous performances against both Valencia and Napoli to ensure our progression, yet hasn't showed up in recent Premier League games. Saying that, if we won the Champions League but finished 5th (or even lower) I don't think too many of us would have any complaints :D

I agree with you to an extent, but jeez was Drogba ever up for the Napoli game. That's my worry to be honest, and that's a big part of why some of the 'the old guard' need to be moved on - they are absolutely f**king hell bent on winning the Champions League. I can guarantee you that they will all play out of their skin tomorrow night, and for that reason we should stick with them. It's why I was so disappointed to see them dropped in the first game against Napoli - we need hungry players, and no one in the squad is going to be hungrier for the Champions League this season than the players who may not get another chance to win it. Similarly Torres has a point to prove to himself as much as anything, which is why I was really disappointed to see him not starting the Spurs game...

As much as I agree we need to rebuild the squad somewhat, and admire the optimism some people are showing regarding finishing outside the top 4, I'm not sure I agree with it... And as much as it's a nice idea that we would bring in these 'young, hungry and talented' players is it really more likely we'd be able to bring this sort of player in if we finish outside of the Champions League spots? I'd say almost certainly not.

Ive been to a Spurs game both at the Bridge, and also at WHL (sitting amongst the Spurs fans, against my will...) and cant say I noticed that at all. I have 4 friends who are Spurs fans and they are amongst the most humble football fans I know, never gloating, never putting other teams down, generally acting decently and maturely. By contrast the QPR fan I know comes across as a right smug bitch, and of the 10 or so Liverpool fans I know at least half of them still believe theyre going to win the league next season and that they are by far the most victimised team in the league, poor Luis Suarez. Whilst I agree that rivalries are part of what makes football great, those big games you get so anxious about, that give you such a sense of joy if you pull through and win, what those matches are do probably come down to personal experience - maybe if you had my experiences, you wouldnt mind Tottenham so much, and if I had yours, I would indeed hate them. For me they dont even come close to QPR or Liverpool in teams I find hateable.

You say that as if it's a bad thing... I'm not keen on Spurs at all, but in terms of how easy they are to hate they don't even come close to teams like Liverpool, QPR etc Yes rivalries are good, yes banter and jibes between fans are good, and yes fiery derbys are good, but to hate (strong word) a team and all of their fans just based on history and tradition seems silly to me. Do you still hate the Germans because of World War 2?

He didn't have the best of nights, mostly quite ineffective despite working his socks off and creating a fantastic chance for Mata... But the contrast between him and Drogba last night was f**king huge. It really depresses me that you never know what you're going to get with Drogs, Torres and Sturridge must have been so frustrated watching what was going on in the last 20 minutes whist we squandered the lead.

20 wins from 20 for City at home, we pushed them right to the very end and could've got something from it had we had more luck. Meh, not too down about that.

Oh well. We played well tonight in an incredibly tough match (last time they lost at home in the league was 2010? Blimey) so I don't feel too down about it. Shame we dropped points to Arsenal and Tottenham, but hey, this was a damn hard game, and at least we weren't depressingly sh*t like we were under AVB at times.
