  1. Wow big wake up call for Conte here. Not a fan of putting too much emphasis particular results, as it is early, but this meant something to us fans. We were at home and this hurts
  2. I've been thinking David Luiz has seemed quite reserved and nervous since returning. Not the same confident self (all in media/social media commitments) and Gary Cahill just confirmed it on sky. Hasn't been himself. I'm a little worried
  3. Hate that. Home colours at home is a must. Anything you want to dream up for away games I'm fine with, but home must be home kit.
  4. I challenge everyone who thinks Willian doesn't do anything to watch our game against Liverpool this Friday and count how many crosses everyone on the team puts in. Willian and Ivanovic will be on top (providing Ivan plays on the right). I know that is his job, being a winger, but I swear when other players end up in that position it's back around the square they go. Willian is calculated and measured, he puts in a lot of good crosses (and if we had a second striker may be appreciated more) and also has a bit of range on his shooting while also changing it up from time to time, coming in side when he has to. It's easy to be critical, but not everyone is a Hazard. It's not everyone's role to take on players. Conte loves width, it's someones job to provide that width.
  5. I literally think he's been at fault for all three goals
  6. Costa was sensational, I do wish we would get the ball to him in the box more. I don't think anyone will be more angry than himself about that miss. Thought Kante was extremely poor. He was about a metre off where he should have been the whole game and didn't make any notable tackles. Seemed to be shrugged off a lot and was the equivalent of "token pressure". Cahill and to a much lesser extent Terry were too slow on the ball all game. I'm not saying I saw that second goal coming, but I don't blame the ref. Gary had been taking longer and longer with the ball as the game went on and should never have been in that position. In saying that, the attackers should have done there job to get a second much earlier, so overall i think it was a very poor game. We only had one killer edge, the rest were fairly mute. I think Swansea are a real chance to be relegated so only getting 1 point will really hurt if that becomes a realisation
  7. Think we capitalised on it every time in league double season, hence we ended up wrapping it up while 8 points ahead. I'm hoping Swansea try and play a bit to leave them open. Their forms a little questionable, wonder what their approach will be.
  8. Don't mind the article (true or not) of Conte wanting a young English CB to replace JT. I'm always conscious of not trying to repeat history "just because" it worked once before, but Ben Gibson seems like a really top bloke. I hope he has a good season
  9. Think we have always been that shrewd, just no one has ever seen it psychically written by the club. Regardless of what happens post loan, I've always felt our loanees did get a chance at the new club. I hope he keeps banging in goals an really stakes a claim. I'm also starting to think that we now have a manager that would take a good loan season into account when setting up the squad for next season... but we'll wait and see on that.
  10. I'd be very surprised if Luiz and Alonso started. Cahill only played one international JT none Azpi none (I think?) Ivanovic one So fatigue shouldn't be an issue. Unless Conte has been unhappy with our defensive output in all games, which is a possibility as we have conceded, however I think we've been defending well.
  11. I managed to stay strong, have only evolved two pokemon outside of a lucky egg moment. Level 22
  12. Not necessarily. With a good season at he club, the manager may want to buy the player and players are in more of a position to push for these moves now. Having played a good season, they may feel at home at the new club and make that push. The manager would surely have a no loanee's policy if he felt hamstrung by them.
  13. I could say the same to you? Anyway, just trying to help you out
  14. A manager in any league has no guarantee that any of their players will be there next season. Just because someone has a contract does not matter one bit. If they play well in a lower league, higher clubs are going to come with cash and you as the manager, who preferred this player over a loan player all season, could be powerless to resist.
  15. Some kids just don't make it, no matter how promising they are. The constant bashing of our system isn't justified in my opinion. If they are that good they will produce the goods at senior level. It's not our fault, we pumped more money into our academy than anyone, gave them world class facilities, got them to a point where other professional clubs want them on their senior list. You've got to actually perform. Some will say the club needs to give them a chance. What club in the world will give their youth a chance by starting them the 5,6,7 games in a row people are demanding? None. They will come off the bench and in patches. I'm not saying that the loaning of 37 is the right way to go, but the loaning of young promising players is absolutely the way to go. If you are good enough, it will show.
  16. You can run a marathon with a torn ACL, you just can't change direction. He's had a traditional operation (as opposed to the German developed LARS method) so its 9 months at best and 12 months the more likely expectation. Considering he's got world class health support and his rehabilitation is his full time job, he would still be a month away. However as he's young with a long career ahead of him, there will be absolutely no rush to get him back into the first team, so a couple of months would be my bet. That's just my thoughts purely as an observer though.
  17. The new appraisal system is great, you can find out which of your Pokemon has the potential to be the strongest, as it won't necessarily be the one with highest CP/HP. Example: If you have two Bulbasours and you hear the below line on one of them after requesting an appraisal, it would be best to concentrate your efforts on that Bulbasour. Anything less than this exact line means it is not possible for it to become as strong as the game physically allows. • Blanche (Team Mystic): “Overall, your (Pokemon Name) is a wonder! What a breathtaking Pokemon!” • Candela (Team Valor): Overall, your (Pokemon Name) simply amazes me. It can accomplish anything! • Spark (Team Instinct): Overall, your (Pokemon Name) looks like it can really battle with the best of them!
  18. I don't think we will see Zouma in the first team this side of the year. Hopefully get a run out in the reserves though.
  19. Not yet, few people asking the same question on social media but no response yet.
  20. Do you have a guide or is it a free roam situation? I remember when I was in Dallas I went to the cowboys stadium but it wasn't a tour, it was pay $14 and literally go wherever you like. On the pitch, in the rooms, in the cheerleaders room, in the stands and all around. Which was cool because we played a small game of touch on the actual ground, but disappointed we didn't hear anything about the team or the stadium.
  21. I've seen on facebook that if you upgrade your online/fan club account to include Chelsea TV for a year you get a free 2016/17 kit. Has anyone done this and do you know how you claim the free shirt? I've upgraded my subscription and linked my membership card to my online account but that's about the extent of my online know-how. I tried going through the store and applying my membership barcode number, which worked as the checkout recognised the card, however it didn't wipe the checkout to 0. Anyway, it's a pretty good deal considering it's only £5.99 a month for 12 months and you get the (presumably) home top.
  22. How anyone thinks we are going to launch straight into a back three I'll never know. Zero practice games with a back 3 Zero competitive games with a back 3 Zero time with the 2 new players that apparently make that formation work
  23. Doubt this will happen unless Cahill and Ivan play both international games really close to the Swansea game. Think he'll stick with the back four that is undefeated so far this season
  24. To be honest, I prefer Dave at left back. Has played 50% of his career there now and in my view his best games have been at left back. I don't buy into the absolute necessity of left footers on the left, right footers on the right though I know the history of football would suggest otherwise. i think it's equally as important to be unique and set up in a way that isn't so easy for the opposition. Having said that, I think Dave is more than capable on the right, but I wouldn't have Alonso as a walk up starter just yet. Brana will be well aware he has to play to his best every week from now on. Happy with the window and cannot wait for this international break to get effed
