Annoying thing is we could have sorted the defense out before the ban, because Azpi has looked terrible for a while and Christensen has been on a one man mission to know us out of competitions. Not forgetting that Zouma was never going to be an answer after the injury.

People are talking like this is some sort of special season where results don’t matter. The context of the ban and and manager mean nothing. If we’re 15th at Christmas he’s gone. If we don’t go deep in at least one competition he’s gone.
