  1. it's a disappointing loss of course, but it was a deserved one. from kick off, liverpool looked hungrier, wanted more, and controlled the game, which is why we gave away 2 fluke goals. we played better in the 2nd half, which i think is important to note we controlled them and got a goal, but i don't think it was enough, klopp outwitted us this time. this defeat also showed our defensive frailties, especially ivanovic. I've stuck by him for quite some time but i can't defend him that much anymore, theres just nothing there from the optimal rb we had years back. that said, alonso should be started ahead of him against leicester in the cup tie, even if he's not ready or whatever, we need something to change in the back. hopefully putting alonso at lb and FINALLY putting azpilicueta in his right back position can work out. we also need to start playing fabregas a lot more, he has the biggest creative edge than anyone in the team, and id honestly put chalobah or rlc over matic to be in that position. a deserved loss, but also a good learning point. we know where we have issues, and now we can work to fix them :)
  2. id love paying 160 dollars more for a headphone jack, YEA!!
  3. until he finds a new club, but id really like if we get some legends drop in and help out the club and just chill with us

so i was out of town with a few other cfc fans just chilling eating dinner and such and Jason (not releasing last name) mentioned that we probably needed to find a back up in dm if we ever needed one or a 3rd choice behind two others, and Adrian (no u won't get last name fking perv) said that Simao was a free agent. Didn't know who this dude was but apparently he's a pretty experienced La Liga player who was recently released from his contract at Levante. Looking at it he's had pretty good stints at Olympiakos and Levante and no sources are reporting it but it just popped up in our conversation I guess. he's about 27 atm and being 3rd choice behind Mikel doesn't seem like a bad idea considering he's free and adds depth, no risk and a deeper set up seems alright to me, but its kinda pointless anyways. Let me know what you think
  6. wouldn't seem like a bad idea, they know each other, he adds some depth, and we won't lose anything if he performs bad, seems like an alright go imo

masterclass signing, absolute masterclass, definitely winning the league with a quality keeper like this bloke, only 33 as well? man! what a bargain! many teams must've been dying for him, we sure got lucky! kill me now
  8. "Chelsea eye Nigerian wonder kid Wilfred Ndidi to add a DM back up option for Nemanja Matic" It seems like a load of bollocks, but about 7-8 sources have been reporting it a few hours ago. Competition from: Boro, Tottenham, West Ham, Hamburger SV, and Watford Things to note: - Wilfred is only 19 years of age - He was one of the best young players in the belgian league for Genk, joint 3rd for young poty - Has earned 2 caps for the Nigerian national team - Being versatile, Wilfred can play and has played in center back, defensive midfield, center midfield, and attacking midfield, and has excelled in all 4 positions. - Had a wonderful 2015/16 season for RCC Genk, lifting them to 4th in the Belgian Pro League Share your thoughts about him, I personally have no opinion at the moment, but if i did, i'd say we wouldn't really need him at all, but every opinion is open to discussion, take care.
  9. absolutely agree with this, in the past 18 months after that incredible start to the 14-15 season, we slowed down, a lot. our problems started ever since spurs smashed us 5-3 on new years day, and ever since then, it seems we can't keep a clean sheet and can't put our opponents to bed at all. i really want us to start winning 2, 3-0 again. what happened to the ancelotti days, or the mourinho 2nd spell days, where we smashed sh*t like this 7-0, where we ran through everyone in our way to the league title, where we were the best side in europe, or easily in the top 5. what happened? now it seems that we struggle against crap teams like this, we can't put opponents to bed, we can't keep clean sheets, and we aren't a top team anymore. i don't want us to slip into the same trap arsenal and liverpool are in, inconsistent, crap, and WAY out of touch from their masterclass incredible counter parts from yesteryear.
  10. good performance? haha give me a break liversh*te smashed a side of the same tier 5-0 away and we struggled against these guys at home, ok announce new defenders right away
  11. it's only a possibility because conte has worked with him plenty of times and knows him very well, other than that, it's like getting john terry 2.0, he's decent yeah but he's lost a lot of the stuff he had 4-5 years ago when he was younger, i'd rather we go for koulibaly or maksimovic, not this guy tbh
  12. i don't see what the problem is with remy, he's kinda just there for us to use, he's fine lol also the other options there are either too good for a 3rd striker option or too expensive for a 3rd striker, should be spending 5-10m on one at MOST at any given moment. if for some reason remy f**ks off then i'd go for bony for 8.5m, anything more and its robbery, thats it
  13.    TheChelsRVA reacted to a post in a topic: Kalidou Koulibaly
  14. no, just no. he's like 30 years old and some west ham fans were saying he's not even good enough to join their side. what we need is a center halve and a fullback, not another striker, we already have like 3 at this point, i doubt he'd leave juventus just to sit on our bench, if he'd go somewhere, he'd go somewhere he can get game time, i just see this as another falcao, pointless and useless. EDIT: i don't think he's bad, i quite rate him actually. maybe a few years ago when he was terrorizing defenses in the bundesliga and la liga with bayern and atletico respectively, then i'd take him, but now he's 30, he's not scoring that much for juventus, and the fact they got higuain shows they don't have much faith in him as a target man, if we have to take him, 15m at best, 25m would be considered robbery in my eyes
  15. so our interest for koulibaly is pretty large, I think we can all agree, and we all know napoli want maksimovic as their replacement. ok fine, that's all nice and dandy and sh*t would be done if maksimovic didn't miss training and is being linked directly with us. so if we get maksimovic, everything would flop with koulibaly who is a player we've all wanted, but maksimovic is half price or even less, so we'd be getting a deal. on the other hand we could just finish the deal with koulibaly right now, and then napoli could easily get maksimovic in like a day or two later, and everything would be alright. so, why isn't it completed? EDIT: i just saw what havelschayes said. this is getting out of hand. i can kind of understand the logic, selling to a rival in the league and what not, but can't napoli then just turn their attention elsewhere? there is others like maksimovic, or there should be, so...
  16. If you'd like to watch a CFC Montage I made quite a while ago, that's the link ^ My editing skills are so much better now so it may look unpolished or rusty, but just enjoy the music and the goals :)
